    I have a question, por favor: Which file contains the "strength/effectiveness" of nukes? I personally am no friend of this whole Doomsday/Apocalypse and would like to weaken them, so that they're more tactical weapons aiding conventional warfare and not the beasts that lead up to Metro 2033.

    Hey Bizon,
    We should cooperate in terms of tech teams for the CWTT expansion and NWO. I'd like permission to include your tech teams in the mod and add some of our teams to yours (like helicopter teams). We could basically have two versions of the teams- an NWO version that doesn't use the special helicopter design tech component for helicopter tech teams and a CWTT version that would add that component to helicopter teams. This way there would be no issue with regard to the ids of the teams, so people could play NWO with our mod while keeping NWO's unique tech teams like Gosplan.

    Also, I'd be willing to put in the work of expanding tech teams to their proper end date (eg beyond 1970 for the appropriate teams- I'd suggest using 2000 as the end date for teams that are still operating.

    You can edit the secret_weapons_tech.txt file in the mod's tech folder (should be something like C:\Games\Darkest Hour\Mods\New World Order 2\db\tech ).
    Search for the following:
    Code:
    # Semi-Fission Bomb
    # Fission Bomb
    # Fusion Bomb
    In each of those techs you'll find the following line
    Code:
    command = { type = nuke_damage value =
    In those lines you can change the additional damage value of of each of those techs. Experiment with them and see what works best for you. Be sure to save a copy of the original file first!

    I'm interested, even if USA seems not to have capability to produce nukes in 1945 (I removed duplicated reactors so this may be the problem I'll have to correct), do you see AI building reactors and researching necessary techs (and, most important thing, do they get and use nukes)? It should work this way but I wasn't ever 100% confident in AI tendencies in this regard.

    I have written in several opportunities to go Commie or Fascist into this mod, as AST is a "minor" it shouldn't have too great an effect on overall gameplay. New events added for the emigration of Europeans to Australia and population growth reflects this. All events have proper names now over the generic AST_1933, AST_1914, AST_1919, AST_1946, AST_1950. Events for WW II and some Korean War and Malayan Crisis events still need proper coding as do many events. But the bulk of the work is done, sadly can not solve "language error" problems but alas still trying. The Empire Games and 1956 Olympic Games will be added once I get the bulk of the work done up to 1963. (SO CLOSE!) We're done from Jan 1914-Late 1958. Many techteams to be added/removed from AST yet, bonus research speed (minimal), bonuses to org and morale for army/navy/air force all balanced, strike events and 1929 Wall Street Crash balanced. (The crash may well send you into a monetary debt which you will be forced to climb out of.) 1914 scenario now forces Commonwealth into war with U08 (WW I Germany). At least most of the work is done for writing events. However I still need help with gfx and correct triggers, leaders, techteams I can now write but sleep/wake events will be needed. Please register your interest as some others have because once my language problems are solved I am going to need your help. I haven't forgotten about anyone here at NWO

    Pretty cool you can do that tbh, since I always thought nukes were too powerful, even just the fission nukes.

    I started a 1933 game as Britain combining New World Order 2 and Cold War Tech Tree Expansion, and I was prepared for the ultimate World War 2/Cold War experience. I got a bit more than I bargained for when Turkey and Nationalist Spain(still in a civil war) joined the Axis. And as if Italy still fighting Abyssinia isn't enough, the second Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was singed. Also with the Japanese struggling to hold on to Manchuria, the AI choose to to attack the U.S.A. By any chance if World War 2 extends past 1945(I think it'll last until the 50s in my game) will any of the Cold War events not fire?

    Yeah, I noticed your mod makes great progress lately. If you have language problems, it's probably percentage signs ('%') in your text entries. I'll take a look at the downloadable version to check if it's indeed the case and in general start going through it seeing how your mod plays with NWO2.

    As I mentioned, I'll finally check Cold War techtree mod out and try to make amendments to my scenarios so it works better - probably at first as an optional download for the bravest ones to test.

    And this week I'm starting my work over AI so that 2.1 version happens reasonably soon.

    A big portion of events indeed will not happen if WW2 is still going on. Most of them will fire as soon as it ends, even if it's ahistorically late. If it's only Japan still holding out (which frequently happens in game), then you'll lose only small fraction of events concerning Far East.
