I had a similar situation where my 14k army run out of morale during assault when there was just defender left. But an empty castle is even better.
 
The Romance of the Three Kingdoms tells us a story similar to this situation.
Zhunge Liang made a castle empty. The enemy general Sima Yi saw it, but he was afraid of Zhunge's intrigue and he could not attack the castle...

Yeah, same kind of situation happened in Japan as well. When Tokugawa got defeated in some battle he retreated to his castle and left the gates open and lighted the way there so that his troops scrambling for safety would find their way back.

The enemy generals meantime were afraid of trap and refrained from doing anything.

Maybe he was shocked by an examination of freshly-severed heads after the battle...

Happens that the only sister I have left alive is a bit mature already. Well, I suppose everyone has their own taste.

I would have thought that my son would inherit the Namioka land as a kokujin, but weirdly his son becomes a new clan leader of a second Nanbu clan. It all inherited right in the end, but a little strange nonetheless.

You can start advancing before you declare war. not a bug. clever ai instead.
 
this thread needs reviving, so here it is, probably coolest ronin ever. 12 years old!!! and got an already dead son who reached an age of 36(!) years. impressive! :eek:o
