Game freezes

My directx and grafikcard is up to date, i've looked after the "noculture" and "noreligion" in the save game, and also after the "no army group" but came up short. i've the mod Magna Terra installed, wasn't sure i should post here or in magna terra forum.

I've had my save game chrashing at diffrent dates between 5th of July and 22th of july.

You'd probably be better off in the Magna Terra forum, it's most likely something to do with the mod.

What exactly happened with 'noculture' and 'noreligion'?

I read somewhere that the game, could freeze if rebels declared independancy or if barbarians settled somewhere because they didn't get any culture or religion, so i looked for that in the save game files but couldn't find anything.

Seems to be the infamous noreligion noculture error. I'll see if I can correct it, previously I had the same problem and thought I found a solution, but it turns out it wasn't that good.

EDIT: You mention barbarian states. That may be the problem I didn't see before. It gives me a clue on how to solve it maybe!
