My problem on the other hand is that playing as Austria, I am the sole Central Powers member left.
Sure, I am rolling up Russia, but there's just no events for me.

You see, first I beat Italy, and then every other member of the CP was defeated. The Entente however is unable to attack me because apart from Russia nobody borders me and the AI doesn't even try to attack my Balkan beaches. And because Germany managed to wipe out most of the Russian army, I have some rather easy going there.

Hey,

I can't build armour fomations as Britian as the research does nothing and includes no text as to what the research achives

Armor divisions (as opposed to brigades) are unlocked by the 1940ish land doctrine that GB has. Or rather that 1940s land doctrine unlocks armored formations. Its more or less the same as in the base game.

I've been having a couple of issues as Germany. I chose the decision that "We are not responsible", started building units and found no real unit cap to worry about except as limited by IC and manpower. Second in my last game somehow using only the events I accidentally went Leninist as Germany still and in 1934 made it back to Paternal Autocrat... and couldn't get the Saar back. I also think it really screwed up the events leading up to WW2 with Kaiser Wilhelm III at the head of Germany. I can likely provide saves if you would like to take a look at them. Thanks.

Hi all,

Descriptions are missing for Italy and USA when picking the AAR scenario.
thanks for the info, for which events is it missing? Or do you mean country descriptions?

Any idea when the next version will come out?
Hm... hard to say, i've had very little time lately, mainly due to math lectures, which take away all my time, if i'm not working. But i hope i'll have time to further enhance the mod soon.

cheers!

Id love to help you with the mod. My favorite for DH.

When you select your nation at the start many country descriptions are missing. I couldnt see them for France, Italy, USA, Japan, and probably others.

I just won the war with the entente for Italy but I cant demobolize and I keep getting these war weariness and mutiny events as if im still at war.

Poland has been engulfed in rebellions.

The UK allied with hejaz to take down the ottoman empire. Now that the war is over France gets the small territory Antakya? Shouldnt that go to Turkey/Ottoman Empire in the event there is no French Mandate in Syria/Lebanon? Or should it become the Hatay state for a little bit.

Speaking of which when does the Ottoman Empire become just Turkey?

Did the Soviet Union own Alytas and Kaunus provinces south of Lithuania post WW1? They are currently overrun by rebels surrounded by Poland who is also rebel controlled. They are isolated from the rest of the Soviet Union which is strange.

I got a bug that even though the war is over and the ottomans defeated they are still occupying the italian owned greek islands of Kalymnos. Still occupied by the Ottomans despite being controlled by me and the war being over. Bug?

I have 1.02

Is there any events for the LoN or the Saar Plebiscite? I think it should be in with another event later letting Germany unify it back into Germany proper.

A event chain for the greco turkish war would be very interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greco-Turkish_War_(1919–1922)

Lot was going on in the southern balkans in this period.

Theres also the cocurrent Armenian Turkish War:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish–Armenian_War

This would tie into the Russian Civil war aspect a bit which seems it needs a lot of fine tuning and adjustment.

The Hungarian-Romanian war would also be an interesting one and the subsequent or concurrent communist insurrection in Hungary:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian–Romanian_War_of_1919

Is there anything already in place for Irish Independence? I saw a lot of revolts there in my game but no independence:

Another interesting war:

I would be very interested in helping out with this stuff if you want me to.

Hey Burning I made out ticket number 70 concerning the freezing of my PC when the UK announcement of the British Commonwealth. There are 3 other events stacked behind it but I cannot look at them or check for an error due to the frozen PC. It has happened about six times on retrying after reboot. I was going to try and comment out the events but, I cannot find them anywhere. Give me a hint where they are and I will try commenting them out. Thanks,
delanonne

@All:
Thanks for the list of events, however, i do know that page ;-). Problem is at the moment, i don't have a lot of time to actually implement those events. Plus, just doing individual events does not get you an enjoyable gameplay experience, these events need to be generalized (so they don't just happen at one single point in time, but link into existing events). Doing so requires a lot of time and care. If you would like to lend a hand, please just send me a list of events you plan to do, and i will give advice on how/where best to link those into the game.
Great that you want to put effort into it, Gwax!

@Bugs:
thanks for logging them at the AAR-bugticker. Only there i can keep track of new bugs, doing the same here is good for discussion, may very well be missed over time. New postings are constantly done here, and it would take hours to browse through 10 or 20 topic-pages, and check if one bug description matches something that has already been fixed. ;-)

Who cares Mr Ungreatfull. Burning U dont get any more help from me anyway.

Hi wolf, I don't quite get what you mean, sorry. If you are angry because you sent me a PM which i have not answered, it might be due to it being full again and again. Regardless of that, i still hope you do enjoy the mod.

They are in the aar event file "db/events/aar-events/AAR-ENG-England.txt". However, for me that event did work... so it's hard to find out what's crashing for you. Maybe you will want to experiment a bit, and then let me know what caused your DH to crash.

Keep it up,
me

done, thanks for the reminder ;-)

Ok, I admit to not reading all 20 pages but i have some questions about your mod. Are the Banana Wars of Latin America included? How about American intervention in the Mexican Civil War/Revolution? The Ypiranga incident? Pancho Villa's raid? Are any of these included?

I guess most of that is already included in DH-Full(Mexico, Pancho Villa, Revolution, ...), so they are part of the AAR-Mod. Regarding the Banana Wars: Would you care to give some description/provide a link to them in an ticket on the aar-website?

The Banana Wars were a series of occupations, police actions, and interventions involving the United States in Central America and the Caribbean. This period started with the Spanish-American War in 1898[1] and the subsequent Treaty of Paris, which gave the United States control of Cuba and Puerto Rico. Between the time of the war with Spain and 1934, the United States conducted military operations and occupations in Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. The series of conflicts ended with the withdrawal of troops from Haiti and President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Good Neighbor Policy in 1934.

Yes, the end of the Occupation is in the game, the US basically is prompted to end their hegemonic stance in central america, and liberate its vassals there. But it's good to know the background on this! I guess i will add some additional information on this to the existing event, maybe replace the event description.

If you do possess more in deep knowledge on the region, or pre-ww1 south american politics and do have ideas regarding new gameplay mechanics or want to add some on your own, please contact me (see below)!
