We're in good shape!



Introduction

Welcome to my AAR. A tale of love, betrayal, rivalry and Rebecca Black. As it is a Portugal AAR, the title might seem a bit strange. But don’t worry, it’s not stupid title. That is because this AAR is not a normal AAR, it is written in comic-style! And it is starring Portugal. Portugal, say hi to all the nice people.




Good. I will use some house rules for this game.

- No conquering in Europe or Great Britain and Ireland. Personal Unions are allowed, vassals only in Iberia. Capturing individual islands is allowed.



- The army cannot be larger than the navy.
- No gamey tactics or cheating.
- No save-reloading.



- Must have more colonies than home provinces by 1500.

The goals for this AAR:
- Colonize on every continent (North America, South America, Mesoamerica, Africa, India, Indonesia and Asia)
- Make Lisbon the richest centre of trade in the world.
- Have a centre of trade on every continent.
- Be the first to discover America.
- Discover India before 1530.

Those are the house rules and goals. The AAR will not be narrative or history book-style but the countries will interact with eachother according to the events in the game.

The guy saying 'Why do they always have to fight?' is Gascogne.

Explanation:

I did 1 slider move towards quality. I joined England in a war against Leinster. France declared war on England. I secured a royal marriage with Castille. Not in the comic: I also secured a royal marriage with Aragon. Castille declared war on Granada and North Africa.

I create them in Adobe Fireworks. It's a program pretty similar to GIMP but more based on creating instead of editing.

And it's Gascogne (+ Labourd) saying 'Why do they always have to fight?'.

It's Gotland, it would be a good base for the Baltic Sea although I would prefer Ösel.

Don't worry, I've already killed of around 15000 Portuguese and gained zero territories

No offense to Englishmen, I love you guys And yes that is Cee Lo Green, that face just looks like a trollface to me. I also lost my entire expeditionary force in Scotland because of England.

Explaination:

The English got their asses kicked in Gascogne. Scotland joined the war, England invaded. I made up Operation Back Attack taking 7000 on a pillaging journey from the Mediterranian to the Channel. I aborted the operation when I spotted a 15 stack in Languedoc. I launched Operation Kilt to conquer the Western Isles as a northern base, but England denied me. I white-peaced France.
