Graphics artist - VRRP wants YOU!

Since our current graphics artist has disappeared from the face of the Internet, we need a new one. Someone who can make graphics that look at least reasonably decent. Ability at interface modding is also a good thing to have, but not mandatory. A permanent position as VRRP graphics artist is offered, though if you'd rather just make one-off graphical contributions without any longstanding commitment, you'd be welcome to do that too.

Currently, our graphics needs consist of updating a few of the provisional goods icons that are presently used by VRRP, as well as graphics for a serf POP. Upcoming but not immediate needs include making a few new troop type icons, as well as some interface changes.

Sure, the position is still vacant. We're making do with provisional graphics until we get someone who can do the real thing. Provisional, as in, random pics I've found on the internet or copied from somewhere else.

What needs to be done?

I have a friend who can help, however she is not a fan, but a good artist, if you say what to do she might do it.

The most pressing need at the moment is a new poptype icon to represent serfs, and which is intended to replace the currently existing yoked slave. I'm thinking of something that looks about similar to the farmer icon, but much more obeisant and humble to make it distinct. And perhaps holding a shovel to differentiate it from the farmer and labourer.
