It only gets worse as you gain more provinces. It is simply there for balance. If you want rid of it, get rid of some of your land.

Dear god, what on earth happened to Norway? In every single one of my games so far the Norway AI manages to steal some provinces from Sweden :O

They did manage to be independent. But Sweden, G.B. and others owned them basically.

Also why is it I'll only get cores of the HRE territories in 3 centuries rather than 5 decades?

superintendence is a useless building for right now ignore it or build it (not like it costs anything) either way it doesnt matter, and blessing of god goes away way to quickly never seen it last more than ten or twenty years for me, and it'll never show up again, or at least ive never seen it reappear. its suppossed to be an aid for certain ai nations to help them grow quicker at the start of the game and then should disappear around leader desth for them

It probably won't take that long. It just says that it won't take longer than 300 years.

Good to know....I found out about the blessing of god yesterday...also I was quite confused about that building...

I for one would really appreciate it if the province decision you get from the engineer corps idea would be only available during war. It seems rather pointless anyhow and i just dont like to have the icon hanging around constantly.

You could use a proxy to watch it. I always do that when I'm in Germany, and it works fine (although the videos do load a little bit slower).
