    The "through §Y$WHERE$§W" string was redundant (as well as broken) as the CoT is already displayed elsewhere, see third line from bottom on pic above.
    Thanks for this, I will go ahead and change it to your suggestion as it does make sense to reword around the broken variable string.

    The issue I have with your suggestion is that the tool-tip should display the COT that the province is attached to using $WHERE$. In the example you posted it does not say that on the third line. It just says COTs to indicate that the good was traded in multiples. If there is a way to display the COT for the particular province using a different variable string I would be happier. It would be displaying more information, not just redundant information in the case where you uploaded that picture.

    Third line from the bottom. Look at the picture again... it clearly reads "Trades through Venezia (etc.)" First (broken) instance of $WHERE$ is redundant. What more do you want? *bah!*

    After 5-10 minutes from the beginning, something goes wrong; background of charts, messages...etc are going away;







    How can I fix it?

    Has anyone tried this mod with MEIOU and would it make any difference? I haven't been able to give it a try yet but it seemed like it could be promising in certain situations

    Souldn't be hard to add in MEIOU ; it's merely an override of the low-target countries for AI countries consisting of 6 dummy countries and 1 event.

    But I don't know if this mod is still relevant in DW 5.1 (even more with the MEIOU AI improvements) as there was a lot of improvements to the AI (and I don't see this much crazy AI DoWs these days)

    Get this also. It is quite rare though, mostly after several alt-tabs and stuff like that.
    Restart always fixes it.

    May be realted but sometimes, when I am in the "simple" mapmode (zoomed out) and I want to zoom in, the game just freezes ... I have to Alt-Tab to desktop and return to game to unfreeze it. It's not that annoying but strange, someone has this trouble too ?

    The event causing Granada to DoW Castile is firing for human Granada when the event file suggests that it shouldn't.

    Promotions work for me. When you take the decision you send a request to be promoted to the Emperor (if you're in the HRE) or the Pope (if you're Catholic and not in the HRE). I'm guessing you have bad relations with whoever you're asking and they're refusing. I don't think there are really any benefits though except for the cooler title and a slight increase in magistrates. Lithuania was historically Pagan until 1387 so I'm not sure what your problem with that is.

    Factions system is disabled anyway, even for China, but maybe in the next version ! (I'm talking about the v5.4 as it is not on the to-do list for the v5.3 AFAIK)

    You have to make sure that your country is big enough. Even 200 relations will not make sure you get promoted if you haven't got the country big enough.
    A kingdom of one province is kind of weird, that should make sense to you
    Also you get a prestige boost (small one) yearly, like 0.2% or something.

    On an unrelated note: In my game the countries are only just colonizing while it is already 1604. Shouldn't that happen sooner, since I have significant amounts of the world colonized while the rest is still colonizable or inhabited by the mesoamerican/african/asian nations.

    I don't think it will make any conflict as it is not modifying any AI concept. It's just an replacement of the low-importance target for AI coutries by dummy countries. The only question is the rate of the refreshment of the targets override ... It it's too loose SRI AI events may fire giving different low-importance targets while if it's too tight it may use a lot of process time.

    EDIT : Just checked the decision, it an AI startup country_decision ... so it just happens once at the beginning of a game. If SRI AI change the antoginze level of countries then it may be simply inefficient as this decision may be overrid by SRI AI. The solution would be to clear the ai_fix_startup global_flag each time SRI AI change an antagonize level but it would be pretty heavy for the system.
