Chapter XXXIII: Winning sea superiority (May 1st, 1958 – May 11th, 1958)
The first 36 hours were rather turbulent – the CSA started a conventional ballistic rocket attack against the Union of Britain and the Commune of France. The CS Navy immediately started hunting down both the Internationale navies as well as disrupting all sea line of communications.
In a surprise movement, the government of Bulgaria decided to backstab the peace-loving CSA with an unprovoked DoW – they will pay a high price for this treachery.
Another crisis erupted when a CS carrier group was ambushed in the Irish Sea – despite being outnumbered, due to an immediate concentrated attack of the CS Air Forces stationed in Ireland, the battle was won.
Nonetheless, as a direct result of the battle in the Irish sea, a Carrier Task force and one Battleship group had to start retreating towards Norfolk.
48 hours after the crusade to liberate all peoples currently oppressed by the internationale, the first major setback occurred.
At least, she was able to take one enemy fleet carrier and two light carriers with her.
A few hours later, the disaster happened:
The Republican Navy throw everything after the retreating CS task forces and succeeded.
Within the next few hours, another eight CS Fleet carriers were lost (also in the end, the republican navy was annihilated).
After ten days of heavy fighting, the CS Navy ruled the European seas – but at a high price.

@Nikolai:
The immediate neighbourhood is great - the CSA is surrounded by totalist puppets.
@Wowwars:
It is the ultimate fight between totalism (CSA) and the socialist/colonialist-imperialist states of the internationale.
Chapter XXXIV: Peace in the Middle East (May 12th, 1958 – August 1958)
Realizing that the Republican Navy used Manchester as base of their strikes into the Irish sea, a nuclear attack was conducted on May 15th. After this, the CS Air Force started several conventional port strikes to make sure that the no ship could be repaired there.
On May 28th, CS Divisions reached the Mediterranean sea at Akko – a few internationale units were cut off.
A few days later, CSA troops reached the border to Azerbaijan. The Indian Subcontinent was cut off.
While the CS Army progressed slowly, but steadily in the middle east, the CS Navy run into the German navy.
While the battle ended with a victory, the last CS carrier task force had to leave the European waters in order to get repairs in Norfolk.
On July 15th, the CSA granted independence to Israel, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. President Reed declared this as another proof that the CSA was fighting for liberty and the people’s will – not for colonialist imperialism, even if it disguises itself as “socialism”.
By the end of August, the situation for the socialist units in the middle east was hopeless.
Meanwhile, totalist forces advanced towards the Indian subcontinent

Seeing the way you liberated that Middle East. I love the Totalist Charter now

Yay, you at least liberated Israel even though you also liberated Palestine!

Holy crappalooza! You lost 8 CV, 2 CVL and 4 BB? At least their sacrifice was not in vain... *tear*

What's up with those bland ship names for the German Union. Surely their carriers and battleships should be named after famous communists/revolutionaries? Or something generic, like cities? Birds of prey? Ts...
Good names would f.ex. be Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Rosa Luxemburg, Karl Liebknecht, Victor Hugo, Spartakus, Arminius, Thomas Münzer...

Chapter XXXV: The Indian Subcontinent and the advance into Africa (September 1958 – May 1959)
On September 16th, Armenia, Iraq and Syria became independent, totalist nations.
In late November, the entire Asiatic part of what was the ottoman empire was liberated. At Izmir/Istanbul, the forces of the British Union and the CSA faced each other. An advance into Istanbul was not attempted – With Bulgaria at war, the Internationale might be able the throw the land forces of the Commune of France against such an advance. The time for the invasion of Europe hadn’t come in 1958 – the CSA would continue to attack the forces of the international outside of Europe before attempting an assault on “Fortress Europe” itself.
On December 20th, the CSA forces reached the border of Nepal. Everything north of this advance was in a pocket. At the same time, a new type of unit – air cavalry – was used to advance into the Indian Subcontinent.
On January 10th, 1959, four new states were liberated by the CSA:
Alash Orda, Turkestan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
On February 17th, Yemen was invaded – before granting independence to the people living in the arab peninsula, it was necessary to remove this thread.
On March 2nd, the campaign to liberate the Indian Subcontinent was finished – the last holdout of the Internationale on Ceylon was overrun. The Bhartiya Commune and Afghanistan were granted independence by the CSA.
Five days later, Yemen capitulated.
On March 14th, a white peace was negotiated with Bulgaria. This opened the possibility to attack the British bastion in Istanbul/Gallipoli/Adrianople.
On March 20th, Egypt was DOWed. This would open both the Mediterranean sea as well as Africa for the CSA.
One week later, the British bastion around Istanbul was destroyed and the Suez Channel was secure.
By April 2nd, the Egypt forced in Cairo were trapped.
On April 21st, after the fall of Cairo, Turkey and Persia became independent, totalist states.
With the Suez under CSA control, the CS Navy could make sorties into the Mediterranean sea.
On May 3rd, Libya was DOWed.
By May 17th, Khartoum was reached – Egypt capitulated.
Hashemite Arabia, Oman and Yemen became independent, totalist nations.
On May 26th, Tripolis was captured, resulting in a Libyan capitulation.
The situation in Africa by the end of May 1959
@Aliasing & SovietAmerika:
I first released Israel, after that Palestine. The result is that Palestine's capital is Jerusalem, the second province (Gaza) is seperated. As Jerusalem has no access to the sea, Gaza will always be unsupplied - not the best solution (regarding the game mechanics).
@Leviathan07:
At the beginning, losses were low and the internationale lost one capital ship after the next. But then, in the Irish sea......I guess that I got overstacking penalties and the republican navy had a huge number of destroyers. So, in short.....the battle of Savo Island, just with Battleships and Aircraft carriers![]()
Hmmm, strange. You release the Central East countries normally, and yet Turkmenistan is part of Uzbekistan...
Turkestan consists of two provinces:
Osh and Frunze
Uzbekistan consists of 6 provinces; The only one bordering to Turkistan is Tashkent.
What's with those weird looking counters? (Egypt, Siberia, etc.)?

"Superior training and superior weaponry have, when taken together, a geometric effect on overall military strength. Well-trained, well-equipped troops can stand up to many more times their lesser brethren than linear arithmetic would seem to indicate." - Spartan Battle Manual
I am therefore officially rooting for a Franco-German strike on Russia, prompting the Soviets to strike back with their hitherto secret nukes. This will serve as a salutary lesson to all involved and leave everyone suitably chastened.-El Pip
Great War: The American Front: Can the United States defeat Britain and its Confederate Lackeys? Or will the CSA defend its freedom against the Yankee Menace?
Yes, the counters for a few nations look a little odd - but this doesn't affect the gameplay. The Kaisereich team did an outstanding job creating this mod - I am suprised about the number of events and how they created so many possible avenues (American Civil War, several ways that France and Germany can collide e.t.c.).
Chapter XXXVI: Africa (June 1959 – March 1960)
On June 5th, war was declared against Ethiopia.
Two months later, Addis Adeba was encircled.
In September, Malta was taken.
Two weeks later, Ethiopia capitulated.
On October 27th, the CSA declared war on Mittelafrika. The British resistance was collapsing, and the advance through Mittelafrika would take some time before the CSA would eventually liberate South Africa from the occupation of the German Union.
Less than 2 months later, the last British Pocket was overrun.
On March 14th, 1960, Mittelafrika surrendered.
On March 27th, the last pocket of the German Union in Africa was overrun.
Africa was liberated

Well, I see that the CSA has the best troops ever. Nice!
Chapter XXXVII: Britain (April 1960 – January 1961)
For several months, air and sea battles occurred around Ireland as the CSA attempted to transport troops from Africa to Ireland in order for the invasion.
Then, in early September, 3 airborne divisions took Bristol by surprise (it was defended by only one infantry division). Immediately after this, several mobile divisions were landed.
On September 11th, a second airborne landing occurred at Caernarfon.
One day later, Manchester was taken.
By September 24th, the two landing zones were connected.
Less than two weeks later, both the North Sea as well as the channel coast were reached – the Union of Britain was partitioned.
After two more months, the siege of London succeeded.
Eventually, Scapa Flow was taken and the Britain was under CSA control
