I'm only just now really exploring this forum and I am pleasantly surprised to see the user mods section I've previously overlooked. First, can I assume they're relatively safe coming from this forum site?
Second, which are recommended for playability, realism, or just plain aesthetic value?
I realize this may be a loaded question but any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Mods itselves changing the game are limited in their amount yet. Modern Warfare is one, I suggest. In my opinion, Iron Cross is a big mod itself and one of the greatest I have ever played (in respect to the Hearts of Iron series).
