This post lists the past winners of the AARthenas (named in honour of the AGEOD AI and a certain rather warlike goddess):
The award is given to the best completed AAR of the previous year (and to the runners up). Completed in this sense is more than 10 posts (if that is appropriate some scenarios are a lot shorter than this) and played to a sensible conclusion (so not necessarily utter victory or the last turn but a clear end point).
