I've done a clean install of Armageddon and Iron Cross. The game will start up normally, but when I begin a scenario the game freezes during loading. Can anyone suggest some solutions?

Did you install Arma 1.2 patch?
Did you install Iron Cross patch 1.01?
Correct way to install Iron Cross over Armageddon:
Unninstall everything
Install Armageddon
Install Armageddon patch 1.2 (note that 1.3 is a beta àtch and not supported by iron Cross)
Install Iron Cross
Install Iron Cross patch 1.01
Install Rev 7 of Iron Cross (not mandatory but recommended)
It should work if you do it this way

I did all that, and it still freezes while loading up a scenario. It just says "Win with honor, be the pride of the nation" etc.
Could it have anything to do with the configuration settings that are prompted once installation is done? One time I changed them from default and the game crashed instantly when I loaded a scenario. Should I try a clean install in a new folder, named say... "Armageddon 2"?
There must have been residual files messing it up. I did a clean install in a new folder and it works fine now. Thanks.
I did all this (apart from the Rev 7 patch which I can't get) and still get following message:

the message I've got the last time before I reinstalled everything was:
---ERROR : (Ilegal province ID 0) 'owned provinces = {'Line=53 file=scenarios/1934/afg.34.inc---
Can someone help me?
