    Actually, i was talking about the order of westernization decisions when i said that: Byzanty in 0.96 at least went to a less efficient tech group than its current one with its first westernization decision. Havent actually checked to see if it has been fixed in 1.02 or 1.03, since i havent had time to play since 1.03 came out.

    I recently started a multiplayer campaign ~400AD with a few other people and we managed to play a 2-3 hour sessions pretty smoothy.

    BUT

    For some reason, whenever I play singleplayer my game ends up freezing . I make sure to turn off the event messages for newly discovered provinces/territories which doesn't solve the problem.
    I've been attempting to start from the WW2 campaign as the Third Reich. After maybe 2-3 months the game just freezes on me. I tried starting as the same country from the Rise of Evil campaign, and I'm actually able to go a couple more months without it freezing; however, it still freezes!

    It's just weird that I was able to play multiplayer without this problem but not singleplayer.
    Has anyone experienced this issue of singleplayer game freezes and/or know how to resolve the issue???

    ALSO

    I don't understand why Third Reich starts out with Terra Incognita. I mean. . . come on Nazi Germany had maps of the USA.
    And another thing: How come, with the 10:2 infantry/cavalry ratio rule, the Third Reich starts with so many units of cavalry without infantry.
    Even if I combine all the Third Reich's troupes together, the cavalry is more than 50%. This factor means I have to-- from the get go-- disband thousands of cavalry to keep economic stability. . .I just think that's weird.

    The post-1821 scenarios aren't all that great. They lag the game down and have little use than just to have fun.

    The thing is that Gauls were a tribe too and i don't really see why the Franks (who created the western world as we know it) have inferior tech to almost all of their neighbours (Burgundy that has a tribal government, Bavaria that is surely a representation of a tribe as much as Burgundy, Thuringia and so on)
    Is there at least an event to settle and westernize the Franks?

    Texas does the same thing
    sigh* The Texan Empire will have to wait till the next update
    EDIT: Also when I play as Texas it always crashes on December 1 1938 for some reason

    It is true that there are more provinces now, but you have one big limitation - number of officials. I have now Empire from about 300-400 provinces, about 60 000 in the treasury, but I can't built all buildings in provinces, because of officials.

    The ottamans seem to keep jumping from forming some yellow country and Turkey anyone eslse ahve this happeneing also not so mucha problem but the native picture for southeast asia in the 500's are escamos

    My game keeps freezing a couple of months in a game with this mod.

    I uninstalled EU3 and Steppe Wolf and re-installed them both with the newest updates. I cleared my Map Cache in my EU3 folder. I start to play and in about November it just freezes with no errors or messages. Is there anything I can/need to do?

    Edit: For me, unlike the ones above, it doesn't matter what time period or what country I choose, it just crashes either way.

    Game freezes 5 days after earliest start with Kazakhstan. Other nations are no problem though as far as I know...

    First I want to say that I'm glad that a more stable version of the mod was released. I have only experienced a few CTDs. I have noticed a few things:

    - Center of Trade open and close on their own. This becomes annoying when it causes a country to lose a trade goods modifier that severely impacts its economy. It's also annoying when you spend 6K to open a COT just to watch it get shut down a year later.

    - Two pages in the ledger cause the game to freeze and crash: the provinces page which shows the graph of how many provinces you, neighbors, friends, etc have; and the COT page which lists all the COTs and allows you to adjust whether or not to send merchants.

    You've probably been made aware of this, but at the 11AD start assaulting forts dont cause casualties, only the morale reduces

    You guys should release a lighter version that goes 1399-1836.

    I love having the Vic2 map, but I really don't like the speed drop from having 11AD - 2050.

    I get a weird bug where no ships take damage, causing eternal naval battles (or near eternal). It's around 670 so only galleys and cogs so far.

    Yes I noticed the move of COT's since DW was released, but it is something hard coded. I wasn't able to change this.

    I didn't have such problems, in all of my games all ledger pages works perfect. I will check among Steppe Wolf community if someone else had the same problem.


    Naval battles - ah I could give better stats to ships, so that naval battles are shorter.
