is there an organized "demands for Victoria III" discussion somewhere?
There is a Proposals thread right here.
You can try demanding if you wish.

I keep reading that upper class tend to be conservative but I don't see it in my games. The ideology spread is almost exactly even between the classes. Maybe it's taxation, it's always maxed out for my upper classes but lower class is the first to get a reprieve.
I thought the NF was just to promote voting loyalty, not overall ideology. Pops are supposed to vote based not only on ideology but on issues and regional party loyalty.
So, I have no idea what I'm doing and need to get more soldiers. I'm playing Austria and after experimenting with a war against the Ottomans, my available brigades went from 41 to 15, though my total soldiers only dropped maybe 15%. I put a soldier NF on Prague and Milan and I've gotten brigades back to 20. I maxed out my soldier/officer funding.
Would stockpile funding increase the rate of soldier promotion? I've also read that I should overtax to get people to demote to soldiers, but does that mean tax the lower class, or middle or both? And should I only recruit from German provinces? I just read that revolts will take same population regiments with them. I'm assuming primary culture is less prone to this.
Non-accepted pops are somewhat more prone to militancy increase, but don't let that stop you from recruiting every brigade you can. Make them artillery if you're concerned. Solder pops need 1000, I think, people per brigade, or else it's considered undermanned. The number is different under some circumstances, like protectorates, I believe.
Just tax the pops. Remember that even when you set the tax sliders to 100%, early on your effective tax is much less.
What's your military sending? I believe that's the most important factor for soldier POPs promotion.
I have one problem..
I really want to play Argentina, and even if I'm new, I think I begin to understand most of the basics mechanics of Vicky 2.
But with Argentina, I can't see how gain money ( At least stay in the green.. ) when starting the game, without literaly
sliding everything down and cutting half of my army.
I promoted farmers, I kept tarrifs low enough so that my artisans can still live..
So, how can I start a game as Argentina ?
Target Country Factors Modifier
Unemployment ≥ 10% -90%
Has POP's Culture +100%
Has Wealth Voting +5%
Has Universal Weighted Voting +25%
Has Universal Voting +50%
Is in North America OR South America OR Oceania +300%
- Pops will NOT immigrate to provinces where there is unemployment in their Poptype.
- Pops are twice as likely to choose provinces where the primary culture is the same as their own.
- Pops are five times as likely to choose provinces where the government type of the country is a democracy.
- Pops are four times as likely to choose provinces in North or South America.
All monarchies use the monarchy flag except Germany when it has a constitutional monarchy (gets the republic flag instead).
Because it's another exception. Certain countries use republican flags when they're HM's Government. Then why does France have the republican flag with a HM's government?
I just checked. The only exceptions to this rule is Germany, France and Spain.Because it's another exception. Certain countries use republican flags when they're HM's Government.
You cannot declare war against other members of the sphere you are in at all.If both my nation and another nation are sphered to the same GP and I go to war with the other minor nation will the GP always stay out, always intervene on one side, or randomly help one side? Also do alliances play any part (Like if one of us is allied to the GP and the others is not does that change the GPs reaction?
