When I replace ALL the files in the Victoria II file with the Empire 1.3.0 files inside the .zip, I open up Victoria 2, and its STILL Vanilla. Could someone help me with this?
Do you have the mod ticked in the start up screen, did you place it in the mod folder?

There is a folder in victoria two labeld "mod" its empty, just get rid of that, delete the map cache, and also, when you get to the launcher you have to click a box so it starts the mod. not vanilla
Jacobites will probably just be a English/British version of the Carlists in vanilla Spain.

Also maybe you should include the scottish industrial revolution that happened in 1780 that turned Scotland from a small Agricultural nation Into a rich leader Of modern industry. Glasgow was the home Of tobbago and sugar trade As well as an emerging texile industry. Later in the 20th century it had one of the largest shipbuilding industries in the world before slowly declining

Everybody claims to have invented those lol. Here is a good example: sir John Harington KCB (also spelled Harrington) (4 August 1561 – 20 November 1612), of Kelston, was a courtier, author and master of art, popularly known as the inventor of the flush toilet, And then you have RADAR which no sole person can claim to have invented.
Besides which inventions aren't even based on countries, everyone gets them eventually, and even if they did then those wouldn't happen to Scotland but Great Britain.

I googled it and just got the hundreds of pages of the old thread, bugs and issues, this one etc. Sigh.
Honestly I need to resolve bigger issues first that seem to be wanting to delay this more than Half Life 3. I've stripped out and readded everything or parts of it about a hundred times and now have way over 10 versions of the mod.

i have a problem with this mod....if i replace the original game files the game is loading loooooong and the game doesnt start...if i place it in the mod folder [in every form (zip file/normal folder/all folders out of the primary folder)] no mod is
registered...im playing on the german version 1.3

Mod folder didn't work back then, it's only compatible with English.

how do i apply the mod? im a huge noob at modding. i tried to look up how to do it and i know not to use the mod folder, but do i simply delete the folders and replace them with the zip file or what. thx any help would be welcomed
