this is for version 1.3...seriously i spent a half hour trying to figure out why the mod wasnt showing up...well i guess i cant enjoy the mod ...any idea if theres going to be one for 1.4?
damn ..well do you know how i can downgrade my version or is that impossible
Anyone want to post some pictures fromt there games I really want to see how america and south america turns out with all time they have to go to wars and that

Here is my list of suggestions based on what I have seen in the first 80 years of the mod (AHD version)
- To make great powers more stable, maybe have an event for controlling the “capital” (population center) that gives a boost to prestige to give Great Powers more stability and more logic (A huge Ottoman empire that controls all its cores, Crimea, and the Arabian peninsula yet can hardly hold secondary power status if it does not always choose prestige boosting events), overall still make sure that prestige slowly decreases, but make it that, SLOWLY.
- Get rid of the protestant-catholic event (States that were protestant would always support protestant, Catholics would do so for Catholics, and in any other state they were minorities being repressed and would only lash out at the government) and replace it with a riot event.
- Make Russia, less… Russian. Have cores for independent states in a lot of the Russian provinces, and for some of them, possibly even remove cores.
- Regarding the Great Northern War. Make this an event that after you take a certain amount of provinces you win the war and get the states. I would also have Sweden gain ALL of Karelia as well as any land north, in addition to Courland.
- Have unique events for a French Empire for all significant powers (IE, Russia, Denmark-Norway, Ottomans, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, and a United GREATER Germany for any German victor.)
- Fix the Ottomans starting position, Crimea, Moldavia and Wallachia should be satellites, with no cores (although Crimea can be annex by event some time later in the game) and have Tunis, Algeria, and Tripoli in its sphere, with cores able to be gained much later in the game (IE race for Africa, if the Ottomans control all traditional cores)
- More logical accepted cultures, like Ottomans accepting Arabic and Kurdish culture, maybe even Crimean. Danes need to accept Norwegian, and the Swedish need to accept Finnish.
- Have a modifier that reduces independence pushes in colonies until the Napoleonic techs are researched.
- Since that is everything major, here are my Ideas for French Like Empires caused by a Napoleonic war chain
Ottomans
- Crimea, Azerbaijan Cores
- Georgia, Moldavia and Wallachia, and everything and all of the barber coast except for Morocco (Non cores)
- Satellites Ukraine (if Russia is fought and controls Ukraine), Transylvania (Austria is fought and owns Transylvania), Ukraine (if Poland is fought and owns Ukraine
Austria
- Greater Germany is formed, enough said
- Cores lost on all non-german provinces, with the possibility of a German-Hungarian Commonwealth later in the game
- Netherlands becomes a satellite (if fought)
Spain
- Iberia is formed (if Portugal is fought)
- Gains the viceroy of Brazil as satellite or released as satellite
- All Basque and Catalan provinces in France are annexed.
- All Italian islands are annexed as non cores (including Sicily) or if controlled, gain cores
Portugal
-The same as Spain but Spanish colonies become satellites, and no French territory or Italian islands are gained
There are more but I will write those later after more research.
Its great the the Empire mod finally release the beta. I played for a couple of years and I have post my issue in another thread (Empire Mod Bugs & Issues Thread)
EDIT: Its a shame that the mod isn't complete to play it after so long waiting for the mod to be released. But it is getting somewhere

Sorry for not posting in this thread for so long. Being exam season and all I have been busy but I have been working on Empire.
PDM has been updating quicker than I can adapt to its changes to be honest which is somewhat of a pain in the ass, but ah well the changes are good. (like the Boer event chain which stops me from having to do oh so much)
Anyways a few interesting things:
- I've sorted out the way the new tech system will work. I can't actually put in new techs because of the way the civving system works, but instead civilised countries at the start shall have a bunch of modifiers which will have negative effects on them. These will be removed by decisions which will use up research points but will be dynamic based on upper house conditions and things like NVs.
- Prior to the Concert of Europe civilised countries will use the more primitive CBs of Progress, Loyalty and Independent.
.- New, much more developed revolution system, with multiple paths towards a French revolution type occurrence.
- Also a succession crisis event chain, which can lead to the handing over of countries. If two great powers are going to join together willingly a coalition will form to stop them (a lá The War of Spanish Succession). A rival nation may attempt to claim your throne and take it by force. Or later on you could declare the formation of a constitutional republic. Or install a weak local aristocrat, but this may be a precursor to revolution!
- China has a new rebel type active in the earlier period 'White Lotus Rebels', who will attempt to change the state religion and return the Ming.
- I actually did this a while ago but there's an event chain for the Tay Son rebellion.
- East India Companies for Britain, France, Portugal and the Dutch.
- Hausa kingdoms and the Fulani Jihad are in.
- Cores are here for one of many new nations for Australasia dependent upon who colonises it. I was actually able to make it so the uncolonised deserts remain without adding new states, and the bridge across the upper half of the Northern Territory (which would normally require you to be past 1880 to colonise) is given to you if you own the provinces on either side.

hello ive been following your progress on this mod for a long time and i think that paradox should give you a hand and completely intergrate this into the main game. now heres my question how on earth do i get the mod to come up on the AHD thing to select a mod. and if you can explain this to me can you try not to use accronems and explain what what is cos im useless at this. thank you in advance.
It is currently in the process of being ported.

Looks like a virus at the download site. Might consider another location.
I'm new to mods. Can anyone tell me how to install this? What's Vanilla?

Okay guys I could do with some help with regards to research; specifically when the each of the feudal states in Europe transitioned to centralised absolute monarchies.
