Isn't that a mouthful?
So, I finally succumbed into buying this game. Out of curiosity, do you folks find it better to play this on Hearts of Iron II or Arsenal of Democracy?

I prefer IC on Arma.

I will even refrain from purchasing AoD as long as it has several issues to get solved.

Besides, Arma is a polished game which has no major flaws.

AoD according to the forum has still some things unbalanced, (speed is also still an issue?) so these will get worse on IC.

I might be biased though, and I know I cannot be objective about AoD since I have not played a full game yet.

But it works fine on Arma, I can tell !!!

I also prefer IC over Arm.

I have AOD and although i liked, i was getting tired of some of the issues and balance.

IC still needs major AI work done on it with either base game.

Cheers, DB

The intelligence system is not so good in Armageddon 1.2 manually sending one spies at a time.

I have no AoD experience, and I am craving new provinces. Would you say IC over Arm is better than?

I haven't, but they all use the same map, so presumably the only real difference would be the stacking penalties and such... but maybe I'm wrong?

Also I want to add about the DH version: DH will tell you what techs are required to research a new tech if you hover the cursor over it. This is very helpful for navigating Iron Cross' humongous tech tree, which will require technology outside of the branch. (For example, that 'refined fuel' is a requirement of tanks past the basic design.
