When are we going to get some new sprites? I wpuld like to see Japanese, British, and Italian.

currently there are new german sprites in the work.
also wasn't there were already a jap spritepack ? or are you want more jap sprite ?
about british and italian sprite, you do realize that their sprite are already special right ? because their army and airforce are already different than any other nations sprite (except their navy and british sprite, australia and new zealand have the same sprite as british)
Did I miss some something? I know that there were different troop sprites but, are there ones for the navy and air-force. I haven't been at this site or playing the game for a couple of months. so maybe I missed something.

well the britsh and italian airforce sprite are different, you could check it yourself. but not for the navy, their naval sprite is just the same as any other nation. i can only remember unique naval sprites for USA and germany. also the british and italian sprites have been like that since 1.1, there are no changes at all.(just in case you didn't pay much attention)

I bought all the sprite packs and then ended up playing with counters on all the time. Its nice to be able to pause and view the models though and I dont regret supporting them for making the game.

I'm the same way. I have all the sprite packs but I hardly ever see them due to using the counters.

I see there is four german sprite pack soon (it's another infantry pack) and no french ,italian, british sprite pack why?

Instead of offering them to the community for free they decided to distribute them through Paradox/Gamersgate to recoup some of their expenses used in creating them. Unlike the HOI2 series it isn't simply a matter of creating/editing a series of *.bmp images to make sprites. In HOI3 you have to use very specific (and expensive) software to create these sprites, so their creators are trying to earn something for all of their hard work.
