During combat resolution, there is a screen that appears with some text on it briefly before the results screen comes up. I can never get back to that screen so I have no idea what it says, but it looks like it's got important & fascinating stuff to tell me. Any clue as to how to actually read it?
I have not really read the manual fully, so if it's in there feel free to tell me to read the manual after you tell me how to get that screen back.
As Prussia, I built a railroad in Mark, intending it to connect Westfalen and Braunschweig. However, the traitorous scum who built the thing connected it to Hessen-Kassel and only then on to Braunschweig.
Will I still get the advantage of having contiguous rail provinces? I.e., will my troops move by rail between them?

Hannover is ready to change to prussia. Hw the .... can i subscribe the deal. I dt find it in the diplomacy window.
go to the Industrial screen (box at top right of screen) and push the gear looking button. Then go down, pick the toggle that looks like a military medal. That is your military construction (forts and depots, etc.)

I think it is event driven, but I havent played Prussia. You should check your Colonial and Regional screens as well (on the main screen, click the box to the upper right; check the one with the helmet/spears and the one with the top hat--on both hit the gear looking button; the option might pop up there).
Again, just guessing; I havent tested PRU.

How to play with a different county other than big 8???
You need to activate them by regenerating the scenario...
BUT, the easiest way is to do the following:
-Bring the console (by pressing the key ^, in my spanish keyboard it is near the ñ)
-Press ? to know all the commands at hand
-Type: SwitchFaction XXX (being XXX the tag of the faction you want to use)... for example: SwitchFaction SPA
-Press End Turn... after hosting the turn, you will become SPA (Spain)
But, really, I will only play with other countries after you have really enjoyed playing with the majors... all the minors are NOT as developed as the majors, so, the experience with them can get a bit boring sometimes (depending on the minor you choose)

If PoN is like AACW (and it mostly is) then railroads from one region are not connected to all adjacent regions but to only a few of them.
I guess it shall represent the (realistic) fact that railroads mainly were a straight connection between some regions far away (e.g. US Northern Pacific) and not a from anywhere-to-everywhere transport system.
Your troops - if railroads are used via the button - will use the shortest railroad connection to your destination (which can be quite a different route than marching by foot).

There are numbers missing in the economic or colonial mode isn't it? For example I could not see the number of mines and quarries I own on the map. I should be visible at the top like supply and railroad.
If you have a city with many factories (think Paris) how do you see any new ones that are built there to make sure that they stay open? The arrows do not seem to work.
