    The Commonwealth of Nations Mod [New Countries]

    I intend on making all of the nations from the following Wikipedia article, and a series of events leading to the early release of the nations.

    These nations will be complete with their respective flags and even a few of their own national decisions, to add flavor. This will be basically an alt-history mod, simulating an early, yet violent, fall of the British Empire.

    Changelog

    Development is ended. I will not be updating anymore, alpha is as is.

    (0.1.5) - Decisions added for more flavor and balancing. Added Antilles flags. Fixed a good amount of bugs. Still lacks events for the buildup of militancy. Will come next, along with a few more nations.
    (0.1.1) - Majority of planned Caribbean nations added, may end up adding more. Antilles added.

    Yep, and it'll put something interesting in the Carribean. Intend on making an Afro-Caribbean union culture. If I can get that to work, I'll be doing the same for Oceania to spice that area up. I may even make an optional mod that causes the dominions to be created (Canada, Australia, SA, NZ) and then subsequently released. The goal at the moment is to make the Caribbean and Oceanic nations to spring up first, then Canada, and maybe 30 years later, South Africa. India will probably come before SA.

    This looks like a great idea for some more countries.

    You should think about co-operating with the New Nations Mod, because I think many of your countries would be applicable to NNM as well (we certainly discussed making the post-colonial African countries, but haven't done anything on it yet). Countries like Sri Lanka and Pakistan should definitely be included in NNM as post-1900 cores.

    Yeah, I know there's some folks who don't like the idea of post-colonial nations, but I don't really mind them as an option-- particularly if their cores are laid down by event/decision as opposed to being there from the start.

    Oh, and JuniorD, there might actually be a few more of these you could grab from NNM if you liked. Namely: Rwanda (and Burundi, though it's not on your list), Swaziland, Sri Lanka, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tonga are all already in NNM. There's also Bengal (which is really Bangladesh).

    Already made all the flags and such for those guys.
    Also, the alpha is up. Haven't made the Afro-Caribbean Union's flag yet. Once I do that, I'll add in a 'Germany-like' country in the Caribbean, and it will be pretty amazing. I personally played through the game as Grenada, and it was pretty hard, even though I set lax rules for forming the NGF style union. Made flags for every type of government so far. By far the most time consuming and fun thing to do.

    Also, the guys from NNM could add my nations into their mod if they feel so, I just want credit for what I did. Apologies if its gibberish, I'm typing late at night.


    @Hiber. Sorry, I want to do it as a lone project, I'll do more coop projects when I get a hang of the coding system. Also, I don't intend on adding African cores. Will end up being an interesting line of events.
