about the supply:
only the need is so high the army does not really use that much. set your IC manually and you will see that your armies will stayed supplied even if you produce not nearly as much IC as the engine calls for.
i think it has something to do with the changed weather/supply tax.

Actually it reduces the supply stockpiles so it does have an impact. I saw my stockpile cut by 25% as I was only devoting about 50IC to supplies when it wanted 90IC. So the game really does want those hugh supply requests. I'm thinking this came in the 2.04d official or 2.04e patch but haven't test that yet.

Please, reply my question when you can. Thanks.

I don't know how steam works about DLC patches, sorry. I'll try to make Paradox include the patch when it get official but this is not the case. I am upload a BETA patch now and this is certain that you won't have a beta patch on steam. :)

I apologise if it's already been mentioned, but model names are a bit screwy. In particular, aircraft model names are non-existent, but land brigades are messed up in some quite exciting ways too. For instance:

Tanks are currently only upgrading one model name every full tech level upgrade, instead of progressive design, where you'd expect to see a prototype Panzer III (Ausf. A-D) upgrade to a Panzer IIIF with improved reliability, and the onto IIIG with a gun upgrade, and the Ausf J with an armour boost. Using indicative scores for Gun/Armour/Engine/Reliability, what you'd expect to see is e.g.

2/2/2/2 - some manner of prototype, e.g. Bataillonfuhrerwagen
2/2/3/2 - Panzer III Ausf A
2/2/3/3 - Panzer III Ausf F
3/2/3/3 - Panzer III Ausf G
3/3/3/3 - Panzer III Ausf J

Instead you get:

2/2/2/2 - Bataillionfuhrerwagen
3/3/3/3 - Panzer III Ausf A
4/4/4/4 - Panzer III Ausf F

Etc.

There's also the issue with Artillery and AT brigades having specific names, e.g. 3.7cm PaK 36, yet having a 5cm PaK 38 as one of its technology components. Would it be possible to conduct a scrub of the brigade names and tech names to ensure these are aligned?

Edit: actually, it looks like that might already be in the patch change notes. If so, sorry.

I only fixed the non apparent model names, for the historically correct stuff I won't do it but I will gladly include anyone's work about it. :)

The tech Russian Railways gives -10% IC and nothing else. There used to be an increase in supplies and stuff. Is this WAD or ?

Noticed that one too when checking thru the techtrees after patching the mod.

Also noticed that CAG's only benefit from one single tech, Fleet Auxiliary Carrier Doctrine, which gives +5% organisation.
There are no repeatable techs that give CAG's morale and/or organisation bonuses. Is this WAD or ?

I had the same error message when I tried to install the mod the first time. All I had to do was to uninstall HOI3, remove any folders/files left behind due to modding and then clean the registry from any leftovers. Finally after a reboot, re-install the game, add SF, patch it up and then installing the mod went just fine.

Not much of a hassle if you just take a moment to tinker around. Just remember if you have any specific saves you want to keep to make backups of them and notes on what they were and on what mod/version and such (at least I do that so that I don't forget what was what and on which mod).

Well, since I have installed HoI3 around 8-10 times now and "tinkered" for around 13 hours I've almost given up all hope, but I'm trying your way right now, I hope it works, I'm not sure if I've already tried it though.

Edit: Didn't work...

Edit 2: Ok, I give up. I'm buying it from Impulse now, even if I don't get a refund from GG. Hopefully I can enjoy this mod now.

In all fairness, who of us is going to specifically build divisions of 2/1/5/7, 3/3/4/1 and 1/4/1/2 Panzers? And care if the correct model name is there? I just want some flavour names and a cool pic when I build them.

I think it's always fun to have more names, depending on what gets researched first. Not vital by any means, it's nonetheless pretty neat. :)

Anyway if someone do it, I'll add it in a patch. This can't hurt and this is always cool to have more historicity. Details are great but sadly when it comes to make a DLC we don't have much time for details (we have mods for that matter). :)
