Hi DevilDread,
I did a Clean Install. I removed everything from the Steamapps folder. Nothing was left over.
Oh my! Is there no solution to this problem?![]()

One balance issue (playing with 1.01 beta patch). I thought Manpower was supposed to give some headaches to the german player, however, in my current game is 1943, I am midway from Moscow, and I have almost 2500 MP left (even more than the SU). Eveidently this MP is far more than I´ll ever need (or more than my IC will ever be able to consume), so perhaps a tweak in the german MP or how much MP Germany gets via events is needed?. I micro everything, so I lose less MP than if AI controlled my armies, and I rarely push, making breakthroughs and then slowly eating pockets, after heavy bombings, but still, I think Germany gets too much MP.
What do you think?
Everyone is struggling about MP, I don't understand how you could possibly have 2500MP left. Oo

• It´s extremely easy to succeed. NEVER make flotilla packs (don´t merge sub units). Let them hunt alone. The only way for the AI to hunt your subs in significant numbers is if your subs work merged (this is because in order for the subs to be hunt, first they have to be engaged. It´s extremely difficult to engage a single sub unit, but it´s very easy to engage a pack of 3 flotillas), so never merge them. With that it´s enough.
Well, I have around 150 divisions in total plus around 50 garrison divisions (2 G + MP each). Yes, I know I am a bit mean using my MP, I micro everything (so I lose less MP), I don’t usually push the front except when I know I am going to overrun them, I took all the decisions which gave MP or free of MP units, and I researched the operational techs and the agriculture tech to be up to date, all this should save some MP (let´s say around 500?) and give some also, but even so, how in hell are you running into MP problems?. PS. My BASE MP is 1473 (it´s mid 1943 and I am midway to Moscow)
PS 2. I always use collaboration governments except in Poland and USSR, where I took the lightest (from the partisan point of view) governments possible, although, I have always thought that collaboration govs. gave too much MP to the occupying forces. I get 65 MP per month, and I have never been in a situation where my losses were higher than the MP I got per month. Playing in normal difficulty. Which are your tactics?

Quick question 1.01 beta, my Barabarossa went so terrible (not a whole lot of progress) that for some reason General Winter didn't fire (or I missed it), now it's 1942 and I am noticing that there is a LOT of partisan activity in.... the Baltics. Shouldn't these people open their Germanic Liberators with open arms, bread and salt? Is there an event to set up some kind of puppet government?

Hi, do you have a clear date for 1.1 patch?

I think this is only happenning in your game. Either it is something you did or some wierd bug in your game. I've played it a few times and I usually am around 900MP when I'm cautious. And others have reported running out of MP. But so far you are the only one that has over 2K MP.

I haven't been tracking this thread all the way through: has anyone made an add-on to DIG that allows for additional historical units? I enjoy using special forces type units.
On that note, Goering's brigade can't take a leader. Is this WAD?
Yes. But they will argue the risk is small. I counter that by saying I was engaged 6 times which would mean the potential loss of 6 leaders. Bottom line is your choice.
Yes there is a mod.
A single brigade can't have a leader. You need two units or more for a leader to be assigned.

They don´t always die. I recall somebody saying that they sometimes appeared again in your OOB. Anyway, you get lots of naval leaders, and they get experience very fast. If you don´t want to risk losing Raeder or Donitz, just reserve them until your sub defence tech is higher. Until then, just give command to a 3 star sub commander. Apart from that, having two subs in a pack does not guarantee that they won´t be destroyed. I have sunk many times 2 or 3 subs in the same battle. The most important thing is not being engaged and, for that, the less subs the better.
We already have 1.02.
If you mean official patch, I don't know. I am waiting a week before working on 1.03 in order to have maximum reports and then I think I'll send it to Paradox. After that I don't control anything, could be days or months (for instance the patch for Common Weapons never came official).

Yeah, I saw that sentence that's why I am asking for the patch.

Oh. The DLC is meant to be played from the '36 campaign. The other campaign are not balanced (in vanilla either). Maybe this is it?
