This mod looks great, but I'm running into a major obstacle: Whenever I reload a file, I always get an error message before the game crashes. I'd try to fix it myself, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing here.

This is my last Alternative Flagchange Project version. Sorry. I made a mistake in the ministers_hun.csv file...
To fix it you'll have to open that file (can be in MS Excell or even any text editor) and, in the last two lines exchange the personalities. It will become something like this:

You can easyly find these lines into the file with any text editor, using the command ^F.

The file of your saved game you'll find into the folder "...\scenarios\save games" and the ministers file you'll find into the folder "...\db\ministers".

I'm really sorry by these mess. It was a lack of attention of myself. I've already corrected it for the next release I'm preparing. I beg your perdon.
 
@RRT877: please, remove the description and download link from my Alternative Flagchange Project from the first page. I made a mistake in one of the minister files within the mod and also I'm planning a brand new mod, where my flagchange stuff will be only a part of it. I expect to release it soon, but as how it's a mix of various mods plus new content, I will open a new thread to present it.

Could you make a flag for a Paternal Autocrat US? It happens if Tali'Zorah vas Normandy (from Mass Effect) takes over, and the stars are replaced by a cute picture of her. (I can provid pics if needed. It's for a non-serious game. She even becomes Head of State this way.)
 
Apology if this question has been posted elsewhere already, but is there a way to make the flag changing command work in vanilla Arma? I´d like to modify some events to include automatic flag changes so that I don´t have to change them manually afterwards (specifically the CCIP event "Proclaiming the PRC", or a custom-made event restoring the German Empire).

Nope. The flag-changing command is sadly exclusive to DH. The only way to make countries change flags in Arma is to make countries change their tags. And since the tags are very, very limited... you get it.
 
I know this is strange but is it possible to have the source pictures of your flags please? (if you do have them.) I want to convert them into HOI3 flags but I don't want to spend either recreating or making new ones.

Witch Version do you need?
I dont know the exact one, but it had a number of flags where the nations would be puppet by like France and Britain and Germany, Not sure it was just one version of more, the most up to date version would do, if you know what im talking.
 
So... is there any way to change the flagchange event so that the counter doesn't change?

Let's be real, nobody is ever going to make counters for all these flags. It's best to just give each country one, and not change it with the event because the "missing counter" counter looks like crap, and it's even worse when every country is using it.
