Yep. Unless we have major connection issues in our next CK session, it should take us to 138{6,7,8}, and then we finish CK off on the 23rd, presuming we have no Easter break. If we do have an Easter break, the last CK session will instead be on the 30th, giving the May start date for EU3.

Will we patch up to the possible Alfa when it comes or just stick to the Betas? In our tuesday game, we have had some drama over the patching, but also some serious shit proplems when the HttT had its alfa patch (and we switched to it from the betas)

This could be decided beforehand to avoid arguments and superstition to take over

i don't have DW but could get it, the beta's would be a problem though, I use steam... which wont let me use the betas. Also I have other MP games on the go with friends who only have HTTT.
Any way to keep an HTTT install running as well? Grab an exe from the manual patch and take the files outside the steam directory structure?

Of the dude wondering his HttT, just make another copy of your game and instal DW unto that. I think there were some tricks to get steam versions to use the patches, but I can't recall what they were.

So take a copy of the game out of the steam folders, and install DW over that? but if I buy DW on steam it will automatically install over the steam version... I've poked about on the technical support forum but not found much about this. Also isn't the steam version of DW just the alpha patches? there is no 5.1b available for it?

Ok, got that out of my system.

In order to be MP compatible with the rest of us, you're going to have to copy all your EU3 files out of your Steam folder (after installing DW) and then get a GamersGate version EU3.exe and EU3game.exe from someone.

Or you could just get Chronicles from GamersGate. But if you get it from Steam, you WILL NOT be able to play MP with anyone who got it from somewhere else unless you exchange the .exe's.
