Secretary Terrance, I assure you will I fight whomever I am ordered to fight. I will even fight against Germany if I must, if it comes to that. However, I see no need for Germany and America to be enemies. America may be my adopted homeland, but I love it and want to see her message spread throughout the world.

Mr. Weaver's plan to bring the control of key industries under the control of the state. State intervention is good for the economy, yes. A planned economy is not. Without a market there is no competition, and the state can charge however much they like for steel, oil, and automobiles. Most of you cannot buy these things, I understand. But for instance, suppose you work in a fabric factory. If a rich man has to spend more on oil and automobiles, then he has less to spend on fabrics, doesn't he? He also has less to spend on clothes, which means the clothes factories will not want as much of your fabric. Mr. Weaver will most likely say, "I will not raise prices". I agree that he wouldn't. But can you really say there never will be a president who will raise prices for his own gain, to pay for wars or suchlike?

Did the honorable Mr. Cain just call me old? My character is like 30-40 (erm, by that I mean the minimum age to run for office)

I agree completely with you platform of reforms, they are the kind of thing that helps provide cooperation, and a fair playing field, to all

Vote Taggerman for Cooperation of government, of Industry, of the workers, all for the betterment of America, and the spread of Democracy!

((oops so sry chnaged the vote in teh original post))

Hensdale! Only he has the experience to solve our foreign poilcy problems!

((Also after the debacle that led to the collapse of the SNP I feel the obligation to vote for Fry whenever the both of us are not running))

Fellow Citizens! Members of the ACP! Hear my call!

It is quite obvious that now, the Empire of Liberty has been established and is indeed here to stay. While most in our party disagree with its implantation and general purpose, it would only seem logical to place a man who has had experience representing it abroad to manage it. Sure, many find the simple idea repulsive and the fact that we are now interfering in politics of the world but! Hear my plea! Should I be nominated to run under the American Conservative Parties banner, you have my FULL FAITH that I will use the Empire of Liberty in the best interests of the Country. It is quite the Empire of Liberty shall remain, my only question now is: Should we try to waste our political capital to tear it down and destroy our party? My answer is an empathetic NO! The question you must ask your self now is, who would you rather have running the Empire of Liberty? A man who wishes to tear it down and destroy our party? A man who will use it against the interests of everything the ACP stands for? Or, would you rather have it run by a man who has tried and true foreign policy experience, AND who will be looking out for the interests of the ACP? I am that man, fellow members. Our party stands at a crossroads, whether to try our best to destroy the Empire of Liberty, or to work with it, and take control of our own destiny, with a man who can, and will, pull through for the American Conservatives.

This primary, cast your vote for David Hensdale, in order to ensure this destiny.

The vote as it stands:
Federal
Terrance: 4
Taggerman: 1
Khur: 1
ACP
Car: 3
Jarvis: 0
Hensdale: 1
Democrat
Walsh: 0
Weaver: 1
Atlee: 0

Which is why we should all support the Cooperation candidate, who will help to give Democrats a say in the government if I should win the election!

(( The easiest way to prevent Democrats from coming back to the game would be more needless coalitions with the Federals. The Democrats will do just fine. ))

(I think you misunderstood cooperation for coalition.)

I hereby drop my running for Federalist Primaries. I apologize to all my voters (voter), but there is simply no major support to sustain a viable campaign. I pledge my fullhearted support for The Honorable Secretary Tarrance.

I Drop my candidacy and vote for Tarrance in the Federalist Primaries, who shares my belief in a cooperative state.

I endorse Mister Hensdale in the Conservative primary.

All three candidates are sound and honourable men. As they differed little in domestic policy, the decisive influence on my vote was international affairs. I simply believe that Mister Hensdale is best equipped to deliver a robust foreign policy, safeguarding American interests at home through firm action abroad. I find the ideological aspects of the Commonwealth to be insufferably imperialist, but the practical effects must be recognised: it has ensured that America's voice is heard across the globe, and so has secured her position among the great nations. To abandon the Commonwealth would be to abandon this favoured position. It would be give to a free hand to our rivals on the continent. The United States must always act independently and without constraints; but the maintenance of our current alliance would strengthen our action in South America, and so enable us to suppress those threats to democracy that have recently arisen.

Sorry it took so long.

The polls are closed.

The Federal Candidate will be T. H. Terrance.
The American Conservative Candidate will be Calvin C. Carr.
The Democratic Candidate will be Floyd Weaver.

Get platforms to me ASAP.

George Walsh's Concession Speech

My friends, I am and I have always been a proud Democrat. I have always believed myself to be socialist, and I have always believed in the end of class. But I am no longer sure whether the first sentence is the same as the second.

I cannot bring myself to vote for a man who accused an American seviceman, a man far braver than him, a traitor. I cannot bring myself to vote for the rich men in the ACP who want only to stay rich. But I also cannot bring myself to vote for building the monopolies up again, or for an America that hides away in the corner and refuses to make friends. If they are in the Democratuc platform, as I expect they will, be then I will not be voting come January 19th.

(Walsh then walked out of the Convention before Weaver's acceptance speech.)

(( Besides the ACP candidate I don't even know who you are referring to. Did the Federal candidate or one of the Democrats accuse somebody of treason? I guess you are referring to my isolationism in the part about hiding in a corner, but otherwise I don't really have any idea what you are referring to. ))

((Terrance called Avidian's character, who served in the Spanish-American War, a traitor.

And consider the silence by Roderick to mean the same thing as what Walsh said, none of them really deserve the Presidency.))

((I didn't serve in the Spanish-American War (aren't I too young for that), but yeah, we'll just say Terrance isn't getting my vote either. :D))

I will stay loyal to the ACP, as a conservative. I hope Calvin Carr wins, and stays loyal to our ideology.
