Having been in communication with the other candidates via letter, I don't think an agreement can be found between us. So I ask any party members who have not yet cast their ballot to vote for Orleans. My long and fruitful ((oh the humour)) career in business has taught me about economics and the benefits of the markets. And I understand that only through free and open markets, where a man can build and run his business without fear of government dismantlement, can we recover from this mess. The economy is te most important issue of this election, and I think of all the candidates I have the best grasp on this intricate and complicated subject, through experience and hard work.

But would you truly want to vote for a man who's only desire to run for president is vengeance over the loss of his trust? Before his trust was broken apart, Orleans had little to no desire or reason to run for office. This want for vengeance could very easily derail his campaign if he is chosen to be the ACP candidate, and could very well lead to a disastrous presidency if he is elected.

Don't vote for petty vengeance! Vote for someone who truly knows the concern of the common man, and wishes to improve the common man's lot!

I ran for office for Vice President before Harrison came along. This isn't about vengeance, I'm not a mere child, this is about ensuring the American economy isn't doomed for the next fifty years to socialist government control. If I were elected it would lead to four years of unparalleled growth and prosperity, the economy driven by the innovation and skill of the American businessman and worker, given new life by lifting the burden of heavy taxation off their shoulders!

Mr Carr, you have no more knowledge of the comman man's concern than Mr Orleans. You do not make much less than Mr Orleans than compared to the common man. You claim to represent the common man, but merely you and Mr Orleans are the same, only Mr Orleans does not attempt to hide who and what he is like your campaign has ran on.

I would support a Garrett/Carr ticket... Perhaps that could be a reasonable compromise ((and Orleans becomes some cabinet member?))

((I never really worked that out. He started as a soldier/commander during the Civil War, then a while later wrote The True American (I'm making the assumption that it wasn't very popular and therefore didn't make him very much money), and now he's running for president. A lot of blank spots I never really filled in, mostly because after SotA became popular I sort of pseudo-dropped out of the AAR.))

((Mandrake's gone (where he went I can't remember). Commies are as big as ever. The ACP is the American Conservative Party, which is basically a replacement for the Republicans because they fell apart after a low voter turn-out (I think Vallejo was the only one who actually got any votes that election).))
