Oh, another update (I've played on a bit): there seems to be a mistake with the Beninkongo liberation event. In event 777283, which liberates Beninkongo, it says on line 15431: "command = { type = independence which = U03 value = 0 }". This has as effect that if you choose to liberate them, all your troops inside their territory become theirs. Since this is a) rather inconvenient for the player, b) unrealistic, and c) unlike any other African liberation event, I'm assuming it's a bug. To fix it, change the line to: "command = { type = independence which = U03 value = 1 when = 0 }".
 
just give russia the prussian territories they should give them to their puppet if the puppet has cores on it

I tried that, but for some reason, the provinces don't show up when I try to give it to them. Could it be because their formally still owned by Germany, and merely occupied by me?
 
Alright, I concluded my UoB game.
- After the events described above, I push on through Africa (Germany is still in Mittelafrika after all); it goes very slowly of course because of the bad infra etc.
- After Africa I decide to go for Australia. Firstly I invade New Guinea and Tasmania and start building up some troops there.
- This is when I notice Delhi is making worrying progress against Persia. I don't want them to eventually reach Africa... Time to take them out.
- I ship some armour I just built and also some marines and land on Delhi's only coastal VP. I then immediately race for Delhi and Kabul.
- 12 days after I invade, I annex Delhi. Problem solved.
- The Delhi invasion army is also shipped to Tasmania, and then I invade Australia. It's not very fast going but in the end I conquer the continent and the little islands and annex.
- Next I take out all those annoying little German islands with VP on them. The last one is the Azores actually. The fact that I am able to perform an amphibious assault here unperturbed shows that the Canadian and US navy are not so strong now anymore.
- After I annex Germany, my occupied provinces in Germany are automatically ceded to Prussia. Also, France gets an event allowing me to join their alliance.
- I take Bermuda and start preparing to invade the US. It takes about half a year to assemble all my divisions from around the world, and when I'm done, it has become winter, so I wait another half year. This time I also use to put my now enormous IC to use and build a large infantry force. (the forces I already had were mostly specialists like Mar and Arm)
- For fun, I also nuke Washington and take it by amphibious assault and then leave again. Trololo. I also take other harbors by amphibious assault (and leave again). Actually most of them are undefended... Problem?
- In spring 1947 I finally land in Charleston. Secondary landings are performed at Wilmington and Norolk and flanking maneuvers are immediately performed around divisions that are for some reason in Columbia and Raleigh. Btw landing in the south was done to be able to use my Armoured divisions maneuverability to the most. (More north the Appalachian Mountains would have frustrated them too much)
- Initially, about 90 divisions are landed against ~200 US and Canadian troops. But all the US divisions are for some reason 1936 inf's (Canadians are 1945's though, but there are only 30 of them in total or so) and neither US or Canada have armoured divisions. US has a lot of outdated CAS but about 8 modern Tacs. Luckily, my faithful ally France wages a successful air battle with them, because with only my airforce, it might have become hard.
- After continuous armoured encirclements, and fresh troops shipped in, the balance is about 140 for me to 150 for them or so in the summer.
- After a few more ambitious encirclements, the enemy has like 40 divisions left by the end of the summer. A general, mostly unopposed, advance through the US follows. After I occupy the necessary cities (not all their VP though), Canada gets a surrender event. Yay!
- I occupy all USA's VP, but they still have pesky Balboa. Since KR uses an older Province.csv, Balboa's beach faces the Panama channel. Control of Balboa is necessary to enter the Panama channel, so it is literally impossible to perform an amphibious assault there (might as well not have a beach). At this point I edit Province.csv to the new values, where Balboa's beach faces the gulf of Panama (name? The pacific side).
- Caribbean Federation actually falls first, because they're closer. Anyway, Balboa and the US along with it falls March 2, 1948 and Syndicalism prevails. Huzzah!

All along a very fun game, even with the few glitches. Thanks KR team!

Another game, yet more bugs.

Commune of France game:

1. Prussian revolution, I defeated Prussia, liberated Prussia. They were Paternal Autocrats after being released as a puppet and continued being defiant...what?
2. Took on Bulgaria, puppeted them via event. Then an event pops up about Dobrudja that causes war with Romania and Serbia. My puppets in Ukraine and Poland had no troops on the border with Romania and got smashed to bits by them, and I was sucked into an annoying war by a puppet. Thanks.
3. Not a bug, but no events to liberate Ukraine or Belarus, which is weird. The Soviets were right there and it would be nice to be able to hand over land for an alliance or something.
4. Turkestan was really powerful and managed to take Iran, Alash Orda, and even push to the Ottomans. They took every province except Istanbul. It was kind of ridiculous seeing the Ottomans hold out in Istanbul when the giant Turkestan caliphate couldn't cross the strait...
 
Hello guys, Kaiserreich systematically crashes on my comp, shortly after the game start. I have DH 1.03+KR 1.05 without any additional mods. Vanilla DH is running fine. Any ideas?

Edit: problem solved, I just put the game in English.

The download links to submods Syndicalist Package, and the Official Soundtrack don't work.
 
Does anyone else have problems downloading the files hosted on cs.servegame.com, or is it just me? Connection times out, but I can connect just fine to the Kaiserreich forums (which are also hosted on cs.servegame.com...).

I also had this problem today, but I fixed it via manually Couping the government with Acceptall
 
Just got back to this mod, downloading it right now, but I would like to know the differences between Kornilov's and Milites skins. Is there anyway to preview them without downloading them?

I'm having two problems right now.

1) Music isn't playing. I've installed the optional music package and nothing plays.

2) Counters are not working properly. Just and transparent X at them for every nation.

Any ideas how to fix these problems? Windows 8.1 is my operating system and the game is on Steam.
 
1) In game, go to options and turn music volume to a comfortable level.

2) Did you remember to click the 'use counters' button in the game options when choosing a nation?
 
1. Is it intended for the "Falling Sun" event to not give China all of Japanese Land in Manchuria if Japan agrees to cede the area? There are two regions in Manchuria that stayed Japanese.

2. Is it intended to only allow me to choose one the Great Powers rather than any nation in the world?

@2. You mean to choose at the start of the scenario? Right click on any flag and you can choose every country available at that time.
