i also have a very minor bug report which isn't, game breaking, South Africa gets fortification events but it builds coastal forts in provinces that don't have beaches. not sure if that's a bug though. Oh and this.... I reported it earlier but i think it got lost in the ACW posts.
On the subject of the ACW I've seen many variants, the USA usually win, then after the AUS wins the most. I've only seen the CSA win once. Which happened to be in the same game as the Swedish one i posted above. for the most part the PSA gets the treaty of Sacramento and takes loads of land. Sometimes Mexico attacks the USA but mostly it it attacks the PSA which then forces a peace on them making America look really weird. I think the ACW should be left completely alone.In my current game as Sweden i've followed the obvious path of killing my neighbours. unfortunately Sweden lacks manpower to the point that at the time the Finland event fires which resulted in me being at war with them i had 6 divisions (4 to start, 1 built, one made by event) to their 14. I have no manpower to build any divisions and am struggling to take Finland which should be a fairly balanced war...... Something to rework methinks? maybe just add some conscription events or something if you go the way of military domination.....
On a side note i noticed in the newest release that National France has turned into the the King of France under the Bourbons and into the French empire under Napoleon IV. Interesting.....

I have been having a problem with the Kaiserreich 1.03 version and loading saved games. I can start up a game normally, but I cannot go back later and actually load them, I keep getting an error about the naval torpedo brigade. On a side note, I can't seem to get my custom music to play. It always uses the base music (which is the bonus Syndicalist music pack, by the way).

The lack of Belgian patriotism is easily demonstrated by this: there is 1 somewhat succesfull (AKA it's sometimes heard on radios) pro-belgium song and it's sung and written by a dutch man (not an immigrant either, someone who still lives in the Netherlands)
Yes, I even deleted the entry for the main piece of lobby music and it is the only track that plays when I open Kaiserreich

I swear Japan was nerfed at some point because I remember that in HOI2 they were really good, and could quell the Korean rebellion in a few months usually.

I've seen Japan loose to the Koreans a total of once. The rest of the time Japan either crushes the rebellion or lets them go peacefully.
But it usually takes longer than I remember it taking.
Also, what's a strategy for military build-up as Japan? Whenever I play it feels like I only have 9 or 10 usable divisions.
How much of a difference does who you choose to be president of the US make?
I know there isn't much of a difference between Garner and Curtis, but what about Long/Reed? Will choosing one of them give a boost to their respective factions in the ACW, or what?
If you pick either of them you get a lot of dissent and it's pretty much assured that MacArthur takes over the White House and the civil war starts anyways.
I don't think it buffs any factions. That kind of annoys me but I see why they did it; the civil war is an important part of the story.

That's a shame. I saw a comment on a youtube video of a guy playing the US that said that choosing Reed/Long gave a boost to their factions, but I suppose not It's a pity, I'd like to have a definite plan of attack other than "Disband all units, sit on ass, choose random person to be president, switch"

I meant in terms of choosing one of the other factions. Playing as the Union is a no-brainer.
It's also possible to avoid the Second Civil War entirely if you choose Long as president.
I tried doing that and with 2% dissent the civil war started...
