Semper Fi is what the core game should have been (it actually made a day go by faster than a minute!), and all FtM added were a few map modes, one new unit (Restistance, which is basically a way to let the player control partisans), a new camera, and a new battlescenario. Could have been a patch, but they decided to charge $20 for it.
 
I noticed that if you try to liberate the Socialist Republic of Italy in 1.3 beta 3, the game completely locks up. Not sure if it's been reported or not.

I've recreated the lock up 3 times now.

I agree with you completely but what I don't understand is that why weren't major mods of HOI3 updated to this patch relatively quickly ?

Since they supposedly broke balancing for 99% of the HoI3 mods.

That aside, I refuse to mod for HoI3 or convert mods from DH to HoI3 as stated in this quote
However I think community will give big thanks to you guys to start to prepare conversions of HOI III,since times are changed,especially after For the Motherland,not even to mention next HOI addon(smoke of next addon already spotted by special reconnaissance detachment of fourumites of indian ancestry).

HOI 2 is already in the ship sailing to another shores,where it will join history of greatest strategies of all time,and in that proud company it will be no ashamed.

Hmm, this might have been mentioned before, but does anyone know exactly how the map colours seemed to have changed from vanilla DH full? I would very much like to use the 'new' colour scheme for my own modification.
colorscales.csv in map/map_1 folder. You can just copypaste it to your mod folder and it should work fine

I pretty much don't use vanilla colours anymore, KR/Bonaparte's legacy are so much better.

I played a lot of Kaiserreich on Armageddon and was thinking of coming back to it, so I bought DH without knowing much about it and installed KR. I'm mostly liking the changes, but a lot of stuff is really weird. For one there appear to be no armoured divisions anywhere in the game. I've researched up to the 1939 medium tank tech, but can only make tanks as attachements. The same seems to apply to all countries. Also, infantry divisions take around 200 days to build, even regular basic infantry. Are these features of DH, or is something just messed up with my install of the mod?

You need to research armored divisions from the land docrtrines.
 
Aaaaaah. I now see that there's a technology that has 1937 prequisites for the Manpower and Mobility Focus trees, and 1940 prequisites for the others. I suppose this is meant to represent how Nazi Germany was using armoured divisions ever since the war started, while the French and British had theirs spread out to support infantry? Is this really wise? Kaiserreich games don't usually last all that long, and no armoured divisions at all in the Germany vs France slugfest is a real bummer. =(
 
New beta version for 1.3 in KR forum.
 
Love the latest beta so far. Just the fact that the save game bug is gone now is great, and the new events are nice as well. I did see a funny thing in my game as Persia though. Japan did the event chain to attack Mongolia, and gave Trans-Siberian Railroad provinces to Russia after annexing Mongolia in a short war, as per event conditions. The problem was that Siberia had just won independence from Russia in the Civil War, thus Russia now had a few scattered provinces in the East. :rofl:
 
Are there any plans to streamline events? I love the KR universe but election events (and others) seem to destroy my plans almost constantly...is there going to be a change in percentage? It's just pretty inconsistent...one nation acts nationalistic and then suddenly in an election they're communists. It's mad.
