Maybe the existing option to choose reconciliation with Canada in the foreign policy event for the 1936 TUC election could move the UoB slightly to the right and possibly start a chain to become the UK again?

Playing as Canada, is there a way to free yourself of the royalists and the British and become a free Canada? I tried choosing the events which seemed to lead this way, but with no luck. If it isn't possible to kick the king out, it should be added!

Furthermore, considering the situation and the time period, I highly doubt that Canadians would want to get rid of the British. Even in the 1960s, when 'Canadianism' was at its height, the population was still split on whether to get rid of the red ensign and implement the one you see today. Up to the 1960s, there was never any problem equating Canadianess and Britishness as the same thing. Personally, I still don't, but that's neither here nor there..

In the Kaiserreich world, a ruined Britain (in the Canadian perspective) means that Canada becomes the bastion of 'Britishness' and the leadership of the British Empire. This has been a Canadian dream going back to the days of Imperial Federation. Yes, there were Canadians who wanted to sever the British connection, but they were few and far between. If you read the King Diaries, its amazing how many times he talks about taking into account the 'British' Patriotism of Canadians. Even most of the leading socialists in Canada were recent British immigrants. I think even a syndie Canada would look to Britain (just the Union).

I think Kaiserreich has done an excellent job reflecting this situation. The only way for the King to and royalists to leave would defeat at the hands of the syndies or if Britain is reconquered.

Pff, Darkest Hour is better. I tried playing HoI 3, and it was a disappointment. The map looked awesome, though.

the disappointment for me with hoi 3 is that im just playing ww2 over again, which ive done numerous times in arma and aod. i only play DH mods and theres no good hoi 3 ahistorical mods

Good question. Cromwell was an autocratic theocratic git, but he did chop off a king's head.

Some points about 1.6:

- So far so great!
- The Union of Britain really hates enemy convoys and is very effective at sinking them. If you don't hunt down their navy you will lose hundreds of convoys in a few months.
- The events concerning the Mongolian Empire seem to be a bit strange. I have seen the Mongolian Empire rise and fall within a few months, it happens every time. And then the new Mongolia run by a tribal council has some random claims on one or two Siberian provinces.
- An early war in Asia is really interesting, I saw China change hands several times and the Fengtian Republic was annexed and liberated three times!

has the mongolian empire chain been added too in 1.6 in 1.5 you defeated about four nations and got claims but that's it as far as i played....

I guess he means that, when this option is chosen, there's an increase in infra in Liverpool. No idea why that'd be wrong.
