    Is there an actual trigger that changes what culture group a culture is in? Otherwise, I think the only way it'd work is if a separate tag was made, as well as a different culture, and the event tag-changed and culture shifted the Netherlands.

    I'm not a modder though, I'm only basing that off of assumptions.

    If I could voice something...
    It is far too easy for Hordes to reform through the new event. Playing as Muscowy is a pain in the ass when you have a Golden Horde that gets shitloads of cores on you and techs just as fast, and doesnt suffer from horde penalties. The event should only fire if the horde has already been pushed to the brink, because it really hits too often in like 1420 or so.

    Hello all. This is my first post but I have lurked the Paradox Forum for years now. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Miscmods (the Shattered Europe and Peace of God scenarios are the only way I play the game now) and provide a little feed back.

    In a recent game of Wales>Britannia it occurred to me that an increased rate of cultural integration of Welsh(or Gaelic) and British cultures would be neat considering their resurgent dominance of the Isles. Having it tied to the BRT country tag and/or the druidic religion would be ideal but I have very little experience modding so I don't know if that's possible. Also having every province in the Isles renamed after a change to Gaelic culture. I know almost all of them are set to be renamed as is but I thought it was rather funny that the one province I had culture shift before I modded it myself was Essex, which doesn't have an alternate tag. Oh, and also the possibility of changing the BRT_ADJ to Britannian instead of British.

    Also, I've noticed a strange bug(?) with new world factions and their COT's. When playing as Hawaii every time I would load up my game a COT would spawn in my capital even after it had been destroyed due to stagnation multiple times. Another instance of something similar happens when ever I try to take out the northern set of American Indians as a colonial power. By the time I get there they always have an inland COT that I make a point of destroying in favor of building one in Manhattan for whatever reason. While I'm holding their territory in preparation for colonization (seeing that they have the horde tag), if they are able to have rebels take back their capital a COT is automatically built there even when by all rights they shouldn't have the money to do so.

    For what ever reason I am having an issue with miscmods. It plays fine until i pan over wastelands or TI, then the game crashes. I have to delete the cache every time I play just to get it working right. What is the issue here? HTTT 4.1B with Miscmods .70

    As for the COT problem, I'm not sure there's any way around it. COTs appear when there isn't another one in a certain range. But then because there is nobody out in the Pacific those COTs immediately stagnate and close up. I'm not sure there's any way to break that cycle until nations start colonizing the islands.

    I guess the respawning COT really makes sense in that context considering in the vanilla game there isn't any occupied province outside the range of a COT. Probably prevents the game from crashing or something.

    As far as Essex goes, my knowledge of the Gaelic language is pretty much non existent. The modding I mentioned was just me adding a .2 modifier to the spread a Welsh culture in main land Britain because I had failed to notice that you'd already taken care of that. I did however notice that the Colony Ingame Name Change Mod that you integrated had name changes for Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, and Scotland under Gaelic culture, which would explain why I just had The Western Isles go through two sets of name changes when they culture shifted.

    The HTTT version isnt suported anymore, I'd suggest that you should upgrade to DW.

    On the topic of the Welsh names in Britain, the name for Kent/Canterbury (Caint/Caintwaresburgh) is Old English, not Welsh.

    Occitan Names for Europe

    So I went through the Occitan version of Wikipedia to find Occitan names for all my provinces that I've taken in my campaign as a renamed Toulouse. But since Occitania is going to be an official union, I figured I'd share all the names! Maybe they could serve as an addendum to the Colony Renaming mod? Anyway! For simplicity's sake, I've taken screenshots of all my European conquests, containing all the changed names. If nothing has changed, it's because there was no information that I could find (I think Altmark is one of those few, rare cases).

    P.S. I know it's small, but Gibraltar is called Gibarvar.

    Mr. Karhunkysi I would like to voice one minor complaint. In my recent Netherlands game I had conquered all the Americas, yet colonial revolters appeared and all my culture changed to American. I decided to culture shift for the lulz, but what I'm trying to get at here is that it would be nice if the revolt events would move differently if the capitol has been moved to the New World. Perhaps a ton of Noble rebels or Particularists demanding you move your capitol back? Would be really cool. I just wanted to mention that, this is an amazing mod and I sincerely hope you continue it

    heres a idea for a scenario but it might be knda hard but due to one of the founding fathers dieing the constition was very weak and tunred into the 13 coloneys each becoming there own countries
    Now of course youll have to combine some like in new england but maby they concured them its just a idea

    Making nations that move their capital over exempt from the revolt events could work. But then there should also be some penalty for the provinces back home like you said.
