It's 1939 in the 1936 scenario. I'm playing England. I landed in northern Germany to create a diversion. Naturally, I assigned most of my numerous allies target provinces in various places, and naturally, they ignored them. Greece, having no other goals, drove the Italians out of Albania, then started shipping troops to England.
Once in England, the Greeks find no enemies to attack, and no transports controlled by the AI (because they're all controlled by me). Rather than just sit around, they march over into Ireland and turn into Irish expeditionary troops. The AI then loads them onto Ireland's (one) transport and sends them to Germany, where they turn into English expeditionary troops.
So far I have accumulated three Greek divisions in Germany, and now, New Zealand is doing the same dumb thing.
That might be nice except that (1) I kind of wanted Greece to defend Greece, for when Bulgaria allies with the Axis, and (2) the Canadian and Irish divisions I wanted in Germany are just wandering aimlessly around their own countries.
Has anything like this happened to you? What did you do about it?
