RushForBerlin: ASSERT message

Hello,

I recently purchased and downloaded Rush for Berlin from GamersGate.com. After installation and clicking on the desktop executable shortcut, I get the following error:

"RushForBerlin: ASSERT message"

When I click on the OK buttton, I get the following message:

"RushForBerlin: FATAL ERROR message
Access violation!
Please vew a log file!
Minidump file name C:\MiniDumps\RushforBerlin_03-14-11_17-59-32.dmp"

I have tried downloading the game on three seperate occassions and installing / uninstalling thinking maybe the download was corrupted to no avail. The "*.dmp" file is about 81Mb and I do not have a program to open it.

Before purchasing the game, I went to www.systemrequirementslab.com to verify my system specs. All my specs exceeded their recommended maximum specs and said I should have no problem running the game. I have codename panzers Phase 1 and Phase 2 and they both run fine.

I have searched the web trying to find an answer, but it seems I'm the only one to experience this. The game downloads patched to 1.20.

Can anyone help?

Hmm.. I've never heard about that. Have you contacted Gamers Gate in case they have any suggestions?

(Another post in those forums talked about patch 1.23, so you could try patching further and see if that would help)
