I still cannot believe a plurality of people are backing a party which consist of someone who randomly calling me a fascist pigdog and believes absolutism is the closes ideology to socialism, people who can't spell the party's name right, and people who haven't even bothered to read the rules to find out they need to bold their vote!

Cool it WelshDude. There is no need to insult other users. I mean it.

so the anger unleashes itself already, although it would be nice to see a couple tories post why they voted for them especially if you are going to campaign for them.

That would explain the randomly calling someone a fascist without an incredibly strong arguement as to how or why they're a fascist.

Considering Fascists don't exist yet I was just randomly calling out a name my Politician ego had during one of his Opium Dreams. As British people have -wink- -wink-

But in all seriousness Welsh I'd recommend calming down and letting the spelling slide before the Mods come in.

And Geis sometimes people don't want to write stuff down out of laziness. Like some Radical voters... Besides it's the first election.

Fair enough, it was more a suggestion, not a demand on my part.

Meh. It seems the line between those two are getting more blurred as people begin to post in Interactive AARs

Seek look at a lot of Voters in the US. Ask them why they vote and they will reply "They are best for Amurica"

(I'm feeling we need an update or something before people start going for the others throat.)

(Great I'm comparing Tory's to Republicans)

(Okay so we are back to the actual Political environment)
(good)
(BACK TO NAIVE GUY)

You Radicals just continue to mock our true British Ideals do you not realize that you are making the same mistakes we are apparently making. Explain in extreme detail why the Radicals (or whigs but who wants them) would do anything to benefit our fair nation. The Previous Monarchy was weak, but the Tory's; We are led by a great General whom kept us from being absorbed by the French. He dared to step up before your beloved Parties and he is starting the plan to bring about another Golden Age of England. Truly the Tory's will bring about the Margaret Thatche- Wait wrong time period... It is certain that whatever problem we face the Tory's shall lead us through (At least until something better comes along)

As for including the votes of the people - you are the people. Or atleast, the enfranchised people.

Yes, I know that I am part of the enfranchised part of the people, but my question is about the other part of the enfranchised part of the people (the in-game one, not the real one that posts their votes in the replies).

Also, if the Whigs or the Radicals win this elections, can they influence a republican coup d'état in France? If so, that would be awesome.

And what is to keep your beloved general from simply putting another weak man on the throne and using him as a puppet so that he may essentially be dictator of Britain? If the Tories win, then we, for all intents and purposes, will become a second revolutionary France, and unless you want your beloved general to reign for a decade and a half and then be thrown down by the rest of Europe, this cannot happen.

This revolution is a movement of the people, and the people have spoken.

Who's to say the radicals won't do the same.

Is it the people speaking? Or just the Radical leaders telling you they are?

The fact that that the Radicals are the people who picked up on the Chartist and Ludite movements is what says the Radicals won't do the same. Besides, after all, WE aren't the ones with a leader who disposed of the previous king and essentially made himself dictator. We, sir, are not the ones with a Napoleon.

Whats a fasionist?

We have experimented with a republic once before and rejected it. Rally to Stability, Rally to England, Rally to Monarchy!

True. Also, I find it hard to believe that the two other parties would support a movement that will inevitably destroy the capacity of Britain to restore itself. These are Luddites I speak of, and, let us be honest, destroying factories will not make us an economic power. Far from it. A vote for a party supporting the Luddites is a vote for stagnation, incurable poverty, and international humilitation. A vote for the Tories is a vote for growth, glory, and home-grown tea.

VOTE TORY!
