Europe dissolves into chaos!

Soo glad that the British Republic remains strong and (mostly) united. We must thank God for His mercy in sparing us the sort of upheaval that is happening on the continent, and elseware.

If ever there was a time for the Liberal Party to stand up and lead Britain, nay Europe even, to greatness...NOW is that time.

Here's hoping that the socialist party listens to its methodist leaders and abandons violence as a political end...

If the government turns to violence against the people it will clearly fail and the revolution will devastate our country. Only together can the Liberals and Labour prevent the eruption of chaos and thus spare the lives of hundreds of thousands. Even if it pains me to seek support from the left that is now our only option.The Conservatives have failed utterly and we can not let them continue to destroy this nation that we Whigs have built. The socialists are the vanguard of the revolution and would destroy us all, yet we must not provoke them for that will only make them stronger. Freedom must be restored. Reforms must be made. Britain must survive.

Union.

Although, the CSA briefly occupied Washington! Even now Richmond has never been occupied although most of the CSA is under occupation. (The Union started in the West and worked East - I guess virtually all of their army was probably out in the West).
