Or Johan is just saying this because he wants to be misleading... i mean, in CK2 I'm sure the sun shines too for example.

Evidence indeed seems to point to Japan. I would like to remind you, though, of the famous Sun dinasty which ruled Wu and was a mayor player in the Three Kingdoms period, being one of said Three Kingdoms, as a matter of fact :D

Probably a bit far-fetched, but who knows...

maybe its set in the future where guns are pointless against the much stronger lightening swords! The space station gets hacked and is heading towards the sun at an alarming rate, your job is to stop it. Everyone welcome, "Sunny Space Station: The Hacking".

That is dedication :) Any fictional coat of arms we know with a sun?
The Martells of Dorne?

Johan is a well known fan of A Song of Ice and Fire after all, he even had a custom title from it for a time...

Not necessarily Japan. It might be about Ludwig XIV. le "Roi-Soleil"... (sun)

Say hello to "The Three Musketeers" by Paradox. ..Well at least the third book is around the times of Ludwig XIV (swords)

Not Sweden: Yes, it's France!

Although the hints indeed lead to a Japan-based game, my first guess reading hint #4 was "Mmm.. Space, then ?" 1) Swords can be the names of say, the ships for example. Or of anything. 2) No Sweden ? Well, of course. 3) The sun will shine ? A sun-centric game maybe. On the colonization of the solar system ?

Second guess : a vampire-game. Swords, shining sun... :)

But it's probably Japan, nonetheless :) Honestly I don't care much what it is, as long as the mechanics and the gameplay are awesome.
