Ok, I dunno... But in the timeline Hitler and the nazies are dead, so no aggressive xenophobism, only "regular" xenophobism. And Mussolini failed his fast and easy coup, we could guess that his group scattered throught Italy and fled to neighbouring countries including France, spreading the Roman Fascism ideals strenghening the Republican ideas of the Croix de Feu and giving integralism, the social fascism mix, a real ideologic base.

I don't think "integralism" would be involved in that scenario, though, seeing as French integralists would still be facing the problem of the Papal interdict.

If La Roche gets to power with the integralist or not, he wont have this kind of problem as he was a fervent catholic. IRL he founded a new social christian conservatist party in 1940. And well the pope has bigger fishes to fry ie the italian civil war with leftists in both camp + world anarcho socialist rebellion...

Paternal Autocracy is a governmental system in the taxonomy of political science but it doesn't constitute a viable faction per se -- the classification "paternal autocrat" demands either the existence of a person who is already or a prospective autocrat. My question is about who these people specifically are; do you just mean conservative/völkisch parties? But I can't think of any parties other than the Nazis and various peripheral monarchists who specifically supported an "autocracy" (in so far as the Führerprinzip was autocratic).

That's clear enough. In real life, however, La Roche aligned himself to some extent with specifically anti-xenophobic forces, which I don't picture him doing here. This, I think, you agree with.

Well, it's established that he wasn't an integralist. My point was that integralism doesn't figure in the scenario you've set up, as neither was he an integralist nor would the integralists be strong enough to play any significant role. Even with a specific papal interdict lacking, I doubt that the movement could have stayed influential for long with its primary ideologue undermining principal aspects of Catholicism. I don't question that it doesn't affect him; I'm just pointing out that integralism doesn't come into the picture.

As you asked for progress in the other thread I'll give you some of mine:

I have started to work on minister and military leaders (and to some extent tech teams) for the different Chinese warlords. This includes lurking around on google-translated Japanese wikipages, wikimedia commons, different historical forums and compilation sites (rulers.org and worldstatesmen.org) and the vanilla HoI files to find the leaders and thereafter decide which warlord they should be ruled by. It is going quite slow but forward hopefully every warlord will have working and to some extent realistic/plausible cabinets.

ps, I'm not an official member of the modteam, just a researcher.

I've been compiling some leaders Tuore for China. The file is not finished yet and some leaders will be moved around but around 300 ministers and military leaders have been assigned to a warlord. I will complete it in the coming days/weeks and then move over to generate the leaders/ministers, give them suiting traits and so on. Sounds good?

What about polish government? In RoTWiki Poland is in major powers. With civil war and Russia I think, National Democrats should create first government of Poland in the first few years of independence. In this timeline Piłdsudzki shouldn't be important person in the country, so there is no Sanatia. Also, Poland is an aggressive country (invasion on Lithuania) - which indicates the nationalists in the government-, but with these borders nationalists in Poland woulnd't survive too long. Integralists? Nationalist party and polonization on Kresy? Or maybe conservatives and idea of recreated polish commonwealth?

Doubtful. Mahnovschina might be a better target for that. Plus Anarchism remains a left-wing ideology in the time-line.
