So I log in this afternoon, and bam, all my saved data was deleted. How?

I progressed up to chapter 11, and despite the horrendous freezes/glitches the game is encountering online, I don't see how it can affect my playthrough.

Oh, and I couldn't finish chapter 11 yesterday, because the game closed by itself and the data was still there. So now I'd love to understand what the hell happened.
 
Might have been caused by the patch yesterday, you can download the chapter 11 save and play from there.
