Up until' now Magicka's online mode have only seen use by people who wants to play with their friends. As time passes and bugs get fixed we start seeing an increase in online multiplayer games.

Problem is that we; the hosts and administratiors have no idea what ping our guests have and no way to kick anyone and during this time in development we really need a way to get rid of the players who disconnects (but leaves a "ghost" of himself on the server), players who grief the other players or insults the hosts/admins favorite soccer team.

Ok, perhaps not the last bit but still: This feature would be very useful in getting online games up and running even at this buggy state. So please fix a kick feature for the host of a multiplayer game and a ping indicator in the lobby and in the main menu during the game.

I'm eagerly awaiting the developers divine response.

bump - This is an important issue that many online games struggle with and MUST be implemented. Only being able to see the ping of your guests would help a lot in managing actual online games!

Yes but i rather wait and have the devs to work with major things before implenting this.
Except the ping thing, that one would be sweet to have since in most games the host does not have enough capacity to host a game.

That is definitely a must add! It is essential to be able to diagnose this kind of things!

Also I'm hoping to see some commands to be used in the "to-come" chat box, in regards to admin abilities, ie. change chapter, return to lobby, make public/private so that no one will join in game [provided we'll have such feature someday lol].

bump - Again. I cannot stress the importance of this feature in this game. Ping, Kick are the very basic foundations in which you'll get good Online games up and running.

We don't need fancy administration tools, a simple kick function would do the job.

No it wouldn't. We also need to be able to see why our guests cannot play the game with us. Is it because of connection issues or is it because of ingame bugs? What's the point of hosting games when all of the guests leaves because they lag too much?! Unless you live in a fairy tale world you might have noticed that some of us doesn't have fiberwire internet and around 95 % of us doesn't have any good upload speed either. It is IMPOSSIBLE to host servers in which people from across the altantic try to join in because our connections can't handle it and since listen servers are the only servers availible to this game we can not give such great games.

So to summarize...
Low Brandwith + Guest from across the other side of the globe + No administration tools = NO BLOODY ONLINE GAMES!!
