So it is digital right? Why wouldn't you want it then? I mean, if they were actual cards I might have an hard time trying to find someone as nerdy as me, but this looks great! It is something entirely new and I think it has great potential

There is a colectible aspect, so maybe semi revenue generating? One guess would be you can play for free with a standard deck, but you can buy additional cards, exchange those or maybe win them. As other free to play games you get the game but a fuller experience on paying a bit.
