Where are the save files?

Recently changed my computer, and now i'm running windows 7. I'm unable to find the save files to edit them when playing divine wind... it sucks.

happens if you istall EU III in program files, just install it outside the folder and you will be fine

Correction, happens if you install in Program Files while UAC is activated. It will transfer the files to some sort of virtual storage, making it look like your saves are effectively gone.

If you happened to wonder where they should be, it's supposed to be in the EU3 files somewhere. Probably labeled save games.

For Vista, I have to push "compatibility files" in game directory on the top bar. I would guess it is similar to W7? Save games and screenshots go there.

If you installed in the default location the two places they cane be are c:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis III\save games\ and c:\users\[name]\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis III\save games\, where [name] is your Windows user name.
