The Bloody Baron
It was the month of September and the air is already cold. The horse gallops to full speed until it reaches the camp. The camp was 50 miles from the city of Omsk. The camp serves both as supply depot and as the HQ of the operation. The horse finally stopped in front of the HQ and the rider went inside. It was a bit dark and smoky. The rider gave the message to one of the staff and left as quickly as he came in.
“What is it?” The Field Marshall of the Soviet Russia asked.
“The Mongolians have captured Novosibirsk. The army cannot advance any further.”
There were a number of groans within the generals. They have beaten us.
“Send a telegraph to Moscow. Tell them we have met the Mongolians. Comrades, looks like we have no choice but to be on standby until we receive further orders.”
---------------
Outside the Soviet Russia. Prince Xavier, leader of the Carlists, gave another speech during the afternoon of the 11th of August. The government saw the speech as a threat to the safety of the nation and the radical-right was banned by the Spanish government. The Carlists blamed the CNT-FAI on pulling some strings, the tension between the opposing movements increased more than ever.
In the western hemisphere, America was given a green light on the elections. The campaigning season has began with the presidential and vice-presidential candidates from the Republican Party, Democratic Party, Combined Syndicates of America Party and America First-Union Party trying to win the hearts of the American people. The CSA receives funds and advisors from the Internationale. Their victory would create a huge ally in the western hemisphere, a huge strategic advantage and it will satisfies Mexico's security.
Turning down to the South, the nation of Brazil receives a fatal blow from the stock market crash as its gold reserves were now depleted. The Brazilian Real collapsed resulting in nationwide strikes and the name, Astrojildo Pereira, have risen out of nowhere. The syndicalist movement gains huge amount of popularity and starts to receive funding from the International too.
Back in Europe, the British election within the Congress of Trade Unions has began. Policies will change. What will the new policies be? Who would be the next chairman of the Union of Britain? A Maximist leadership would surely be very advantageous for the Soviets.

The whole room flinched as the Khagan of all Mongols, screamed in rage and tore the paper into tiny pieces. “That lunatic! He is telling me to surrender peacefully and cede all my lands to him!?” Baron von Ungern-Sternberg screamed, putting his subordinates into terror.
Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg was a hero during the Great War. By the time of the 1st Russian Civil War, the Chinese tried to retake Mongolia only to be thwarted by the baron's men. He took leadership of the country and proclaimed himself Khagan of all Mongols. During the chaos of the civil war, the Mongolians took a part of the Siberian railway. The new and fragile Russia was too weak to bother to retake the railway and invade Mongolia.
Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg
The counsellor, Demcuydungrub, tries to calm his master down. “What if we decline, great Khan?”
“WAR! Hah! War!”
The bloody baron threw the chair that he was sitting on over to the corner. Filled his glass and drank it all in one go. Refreshed, he went in front of his desk and pull his sword out.
“Listen! I, as the reincarnation of Chinggis Khaan, will declare war on the Russians and I won't stop until I come home to Urga with Bukharin's head on a pike! We will march into his lands all the way to Moscow! We, Mongols, have already done it once! We will do it again!”
The room electrified with a warcry.

5 hours later.
The reply to the offer was already been sent. The Mongolians are preparing to attack Russian positions. In a few minutes, to their surprise, they will be the ones who will be defending. A humongous Red Army spilled through, numbering at least 60 divisions. The Mongolians have hold the position but to no avail, they were pushed out of Novosibirsk in 3 days.
There were few more engagements against the Siberians in Khanty-Mansijsk and Saranpaul. The last one is in Nizhnevartovsk in October 2. Nizhnevartovsk is the last major engagement against the Siberians. The government officially surrendered to the Mongolians and upon hearing the news, the Siberian army instantly evaporated, its soldiers and officers deserted to save their skins. The major leaders of the Siberian ring were executed by the bloody baron.
Frontline. The 2nd of October, 1936.
