Arabian Adventure

“The Arab alliance have demanded that we give our Arab lands to them. The Egyptians, the Hejaz and Oman all wanted a piece of the cake. The Germans have also asked for their colonies back including the Suez canal.” reported by Commissar Molotov
Bukharin responded “On the Germans, don't respond. They have lost it then we took it. It's ours now and it's their problem. On the Arab league, what would happened if we refused?”
“They didn't specify.” he then raised his brow and grin “but it seems like they are picking a fight with us”
“It doesn't matter. We are still going to fight them. We have made a deal with a friend.”
By August 10, Soviet Russia declared war against the Arab League. The war will be divided into two operations: Operation Hunter and Operation Cradle.
Operation Hunter will be the invasion of Hejaz and Oman. Nine divisions stationed in Jiddah will attack the Hejazi capital city, Riyadh. 7 Divisions will go through the oil region of Dammam and into the Omani capital city, Doha. Another 7 divisions will secure the southern parts of Oman and all the way to Muscate.
The other operation, Cradle, will composed of a corps of I-16 interceptors and a corps of DB-3 bombers for the air force and 31 divisions from the land force. The objectives were mainly the capture of the Nile region such as Alexandria and Cairo. Second objective is the northern coast. The last one is the southern parts of the Nile all the way to Aswan and the city of Khartoum in the Sudanese region down south (not shown). The last objective was given to Konev due to having the only tank division in the army under his command.
The outbreak of the war went completely well to the brave Soviet army despite the heat of the alien region.
By August 19, Cairo was captured and Egyptian defences are completely broken. The enemy now retreats to the north-west.

The People's Commissariat for Armaments have introduced new models of machines for the Red Army to use. A new fighter model was made, which for the first time, fighters now has huge amount of range in their arsenal, perfect for offensive actions. A new battleship model for the navy, although no commissions were made. A new standard issue artillery to replaced the artilleries of the Great War. Some of these models are already in production to be given to infantry divisions who still don't have an artillery attached.
In September 2, The Firsters have finally been beaten by our Socialist brethren over in the western hemisphere. Long the coward and his goons fled to Cuba. You want an oppressive Reactionary state, Mister Long? Close but no cigar. Soon MacArthur with his Federal army and their New England allies will be annihilated by the fury of the worker's of America!

1st of June 1939
The Soviet diplomat listens to the humming of the plane he is in until his partner finished sorting out the documents in his hand. He give him a photo and picked up.
“Who is this guy?”
“His name is Ismael Gaspirali. Arab. An intellectual. He got into trouble when he demanded curricular reforms and the removal of Islamic studies in schools. He was thrown into prison after that.”
he chuckled “What? We are going to a prison in the middle of a war?”
“Not really. I'm pretty sure you've heard that our troops just captured Damascus.”
he nodded
“He is free now and living in his home in Damascus under the protection of the GRU.”
“So what's so special about him?”
“He is the chairman of the Arab Socialist Party. ”
“aahhh! I get it now.”
“Yeah. Anyway, the Arab Socialist Party wants a pan-Arab state. Of course, that is something the Ottomans doesn't want. Not to mention you have to deal with the Arab royal families. It was an impossible dream... until we went to war against the Ottomans for Armenia.”
“So they made a deal?”
“Exactly. Their dream in exchange for their loyalty.”
“And after we are done with these Ottomans, we will declare war against the Arab league then?”

The Red Army advanced to the North-West and reached the vital choke point of El Alamein defended by only 2 divisions of exhausted and ill-prepared troops from Alexandria. The Russians then moved west along the coast and then shifted south to Siwa, trying to trap the army in the Gerawla.
Frontline. 7th September1939
In Arabia, the city of Riyadh was captured along with the ruling family of the kingdom. Of course, the royal family and the other elites received “special treatment” from us, Bolsheviks. The advance to capture Doha continues after suffering some drawbacks in Dammam but we cannot be stopped. The ruling class of Oman have nowhere to hide.
Frontline. 17th of September 1939
In September 18, the four badly damaged Egyptian divisions in Gerawla were encircled and wiped out easily in just a few hours. The Egyptian government, fled from Cairo, were captured in this city in the aftermath of the battle.
By September 23, the Egyptian army in the northern coast is pretty much defeated and the tanks in the South were just a mile from the city of Khartoum.
Frontline. 23rd of September 1939
The next day, the leader of the Arab league surrendered to the might of the Proletariat.
September 28, 1939: The Omani army is in shambles against the mighty Red Army. The last bastion of the Arab league is the city of Doha. It will be over soon.
After all this successful campaign by the worker's army. The first day of October will be a sad day as the last Vietnamese army surrendered to the Germans. Just like the Russians, many of the Vietnamese leader went into hiding. Soon, comrades, the light of Socialism will soon liberate you from the blight of German imperialism!
In America, Reed continues to fight on after MacArthur's army regained the north-east.
They were finally vanquished on the 5th of October 1939. Doha was captured and Oman surrendered. Soviet victory is now complete. The news of the victory was quickly relayed back to Moscow during the commemoration of Lenin. Moral was high in the motherland.
Eight days later, the Pan-Arabic Soviet Socialist Federation was born. The government is very similar to the Soviets, the Council of People's Commissars was setted up with Gaspirali as the Chairman. From Syria on the north to the Arabian Peninsula in the south. From Mesopotamia in the east to Egypt in the west. The question of where should the capital would be, suddenly dawned to the two parties. After several considerations with the Russians, the capital was placed in Jerusalem despite being the 3rd most important city in Islam. The Arabs simply decided that they will deal with Islam later on. The “Jerusalem Committee” was established in the very city to decide on the whole agenda of the Arab Union. The Russians were also present in the committee.
The 10 Points were agreed to the Jerusalem committee.
The economy will be modelled after the Soviet's one. The “New Economic Plan” (NEP) both championed by Lenin and Bukharin will be followed. Farms will be collectivised and companies, Arab and foreign, will be seized and will be given to the people which will be turned into cooperatives.
Squash the regional nationalism (e.g. Egyptian, Syrian, Iraqi etc etc) and Pan-Arab nationalism should be promoted.
Equality for the workers, farmers and soldiers of the union and the emancipation of women.
All religions will be tolerated but religion will be discouraged gradually until State Atheism can be achieve to avoid instability, dissent and radicalism.
Suez Canal was to be put under a Russian-Arab cooperative.
Moscow will place Red Army troops in the Libyan-Egyptian border and also in the city of Jerusalem. (The former, to guard the Arabs from the German menace and the later to provide protection to the Arab government and to maintain a grip on them too.)
Russian and Arab ports and airfields will be open to both parties.
Both parties are obliged to exchange technological advancement to improve the lives of the Proletariat of both unions.
The Russian representatives agreed to give military and economical aid to jump start the industry and to train its newly created Workers and Peasants' Red Army.
The Socotra archipelago, which is a German colony, and oil rich region of Abadan in Persia will be considered as Arab land. It will be an Arab duty to retrieve it back to the motherland. Arab claims on Sudan will be removed and Sudan will still be under direct Russian control.

Pan-Arab Soviet Socialist Federation
Germany again demanded the return of her colonies yet the Soviets never replied. German troops landed both in Suez and in Yemen. The imperialists received fire from the Soviets. Tension is high between the two countries. Chairman Bukharin decided not to make a move against Germany for now after People's Commissar Tukhachevsky's advice on not to go to war with Germany due to the state of the Red Army. Something must be done.

There are probably some of the readers who are confused on this timeline's ideological spectrum. If you're one of them, then this part is for you. You noticed that in this AAR, the word “Communism” can't be found. Not a single instance. But that doesn't mean that RL Communism doesn't exist. It does. It's only in a different word, either “Bolshevism” or “Totalism”. Our Russian protagonists are Bolsheviks along with the French group, Jacobins. Totalism (which is pretty similar to Bolshevism) will be Mosley with the British Maximists, Valois with the French Sorelians, Beria and his Georgia and Mussolini with the Italian National-Syndicalist Union. I think I would stick to this terms because I want to feel that we're in a different world. Also, I would use the word “Socialist” as a general term for all the members of the Internationale, from the toned down form of Radical Socialism to the extreme form of Totalism.
Oh and Russia now has a puppet! I mean.. friend! Yay!
