“I cannot believe that it has come to this. That the fate of the civilised world, our war against the Red Scums, rest upon the hands of the Chinamen.”
- Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Kaiser in China
21st of May 1941. Forbidden City, Beijing. 11 days after the invasion of Bulgaria.
“How is the journey from Singapore, Your Highness? I hope the South China Sea was calm over the last few days.” Alexander von Falkenhausen welcomed what used to be the most powerful man in the world. Who, now, only have fragments and islands in his empire scattered all over the globe.
The Kaiser simply responded with a short reply to the person he personally view as a traitor to the Fatherland. After weeks of continuous travel, he is not in the mood to be forgiving to the likes of people like him. The exiled government travelled an enormous distance from Albania, through the Suez, stopped in Ethiopia and Ceylon, and onto Jakarta. With the assistance of the Dutch government, they took the final stretch of the journey to Singapore. Imperial Germany's “invincible” military stronghold in the Far East.
One of the guns that protect the fortress that used to be a British naval base.
Alexander von Falkenhausen has a long history with China. He first experience the mystic of the Middle Kingdom during the Boxing Rebellion and after being posted on different positions, he found himself in China again during the 1926 German Intervention. After the short conflict, his career in administration started with the establishment of the Allgemeine Ostasiatische Gesellschaft, obtaining the positions of Vice-Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of the German colonial forces of the Algostasien GmbH.
In 1932, after being successful in his post and the recall of his superior Field Marshall von Seeckt, the Board of Directors unanimously chosen him as the new Governor-General. With the sole control of both administration and the military, von Falkenhausen is the supreme ruler of Algostasien GmbH, for as long as he keeps the shareholders happy.
But in the 7th of April 1938, the Qing empire reclaimed the AOG lands. The Governor-General negotiated with the Chinese that the company would remain in the Middle Kingdom and obtain new rights; such as free access of the market in the north, lower corporate tax for the AOG, and a special contract to produce Qing weaponry. In exchange, the administration of the AOG-held lands. With new business opportunities and benefits and no longer have to expend a lot of resourcse to pacify southern China, the Board of Directors are more than happy to accept the deal.
Alexander Von Falkenhausen is the Management Director of the biggest corporation in the Far East and a military-industrial adviser in the Imperial Court. No wonder the Kaiser has unpleasant opinions on the man.
Alexander von Falkenhausen. The Management Director of the Allgemeine Ostasiatische Gesellschaft and a trusted advisor of the Qing Emperor.
“It seems that His Highness, the Crowned Prince, isn't with your sire?”
“Yes. I prefer if he stays in Singapore, managing what's left of our forces and meeting with our Coalition partners.”
The face of the management director changed for a second but hastily went back again.
“I just hope that the Chinamen would at least beat those Red bugs enough to make them surrender and return the Fatherland to me. Let's make this meeting swift.”
“They are called Chinese and Japanese, Your Highness, and they will but, Your Highness, based on the current position of the Coalition in the war, the Imperial court have demand more claims on-.”
“Done. Anything to win this war.”
von Falkenhausen turned to one of his many servants. “My assistants will guide you and your entourage to your place where you can rest, Majesty, until the evening feast with the emperor.”
The Kaiser's dual tour to China and Japan was to assure that the Chinese and the Japanese, are still committed to the war effort despite the overwhelming success of the Socialist Front in Europe.

A bit slow on the Soviet technological front. The Russian airforce have made new techniques for support planes that are now being taught on their pilots.
--------------------------
The first step to the liberation of Bulgaria was in Nis, May 10, 1941, where 18 Soviet divisions met 8 Bulgarian divisions. The Soviets, for the first time since the Germans, found an armour formation meeting them in the battlefield but the formation is just made up of light armoured tanks which is no match to the superior built of Soviet tanks made by the hard work of Russia's liberated workers.
The port city of Tulcea was attacked by the Red Army a day later the battle of Nis. The ill-supplied and ill-equipped troops somehow managed to hold against the might of the Bolsheviks. The battle for the port city was a defeat.
In the 18th of May 1941, Constanta was captured by the People's Army. The remnants of the Hungarian Army are now cornered and nowhere to run. The second assault on the port city commenced and later captured.
Two days later, the last of the Hungarian Army was obliterated in Ismail along with the command. The army is effectively destroyed with the surviving members being absorbed into the Bulgarian Army.
By the 20th of May 1941, the dual-kingdom is overtaking, leaving Otto I, exiled in Sofia, an Emperor-King of nothing.
The elimination of the Bulgarian forces in the Balkans commenced with the attack on Novi Pazar on May 22.
The plans on the liberation of Bulgaria and Greece are now in the works. The provisional Greek government in Antalya is anxious at the development. Kremlin is anxious too. The crave to capture the fleeing Austrian-Hungarian and Bulgarian governments is immense.

I'll try to put another update since I didn't manage to put one last week. So we'll see what happens next to the Coalition.
