With a couple of new events and a few simple (but radical) changes to mechanics such as war exhaustion and infamy, this mod transforms EU3 into a totally unpretentious, arcade-style beat 'em up!

- Added war events for rival and threat countries. Should increase the fun for island nations.
- Disabled Papacy. Should increase In Nomine compatibility. Besides, it was kind of pointless here.
- Added nation+unification decision for Iberia, union of Portugal and Spain
- Rebalanced tech groups
- Boosted Legitimacy (you would get stuck at 0 because of all the no-CB war declarations)

- Occupied provinces automatically annexed (every government type has the 'horde = yes' flag)

Features
- 1.1 should work with any version of HTTT, and to some degree with IN
- 1.2 should work with the 5.1 beta of 30 March 2011, but not with HTTT/IN
- Everyone has a modified Imperialism CB on everyone
- Anti-peace event: If you are at peace with ANY of your neighbours, this event starts a war. With a mean time to happen of just 3 months, you don't get much rest.
- IN/HTTT: Every province is seizable! So you don't need to negotiate to capture territory. What you conquer is what you get.
- DW: Every occupied province is automatically annexed after 1 month. What you conquer is what you get
- Plenty of boosts to stability recovery, war exhaustion reduction and infamy reduction. Not to manpower however.
- Provinces become cores in 10 years
- As a bonus, I've also included some custom decisions to form Greece, Brazil and the USA. Enacting them seems unlikely though.

Remarks & Recommendations

- Playing an island or peninsula nation is easy (e.g. England, Naples, Denmark)
- Playing a nation with many neighbours is fun!
- Don't play New World nations (duh)
- War will be declared against literally any neighbour nation, so allying or vassalizing direct neighbours is pointless
- Mint like there's no tomorrow!

Pitfalls & Shortcomings

- The AI won't colonize when it is at war, which will kind of ruin the later game. However, you will find that the first few decades are quite intensive!
- Same thing for switching unit types; the AI probably won't do it during war. It's a risky thing to do for human players too.

Don't know if the difficulty for Ryukyu is much different than in vanilla. After all, Ryukyu and their main enemy Japan are both isolated, so not likely to get involved in the event-generated wars very quickly. But maybe you can survive a bit longer because of the CBs on everyone, Japan could choose any target and not just you.

Is this just for Httt? Or is it compatible with IN? Can you ally with non-neighbouring countries?

I suspect that it won't work in IN, because the modded files include some Casus Belli stuff. You could try though. Either the game ignores the unknown commands and it works, or it crashes your game while loading

As for alliances, you can make alliances with anyone you like. For example as Portugal, an alliance with England or Aragon might be useful. But they'll drag you into all their wars, and as soon as you border one of their provinces, you can expect the alliance to end quite soon

Well i downloaded it and gave it a try. It seemed to work ok, though it was very (very!) slow, probably due to the amount of DOWs.

Also the cardinals were broken (They all died each day, and were replaced, only to die the next day... )

It looks like it's not completely compatible with IN 3.2...

Though i supose if you don't mind slow gaming and dead cardinals you can play

Good, semi-compatible then The cardinal thing is a bit unfortunate. I'll disable the Papacy in the next version, perhaps that will avoid this problem.

135 infamy :| How did you do that in two years? Seizing provinces should give just 1/province, and 0/province in a peace treaty...

i modified the file "defines.lua" so that nations with 1 to 10 regions can be annexed

Could you tell me what game version you are playing and what exactly caused your massive infamy?

well, i have copyed a modified file in the mod folder wich puts infamy limit to the moon (9999999 or something like that)
