I have also played all major Paradox strategy games extensively and i have quite a background playing HoI 1,2 and three and all their expansions and mods. Finally, i really love history (i have a Master degree in the field), so i am passionate about the way a game gets to bring it to life (both the true and the alternate versions of it), which is what grand strategy games is all about.

Reason for choice above : event and decision are a major part of the game where it's easy to hide a problem between OR/AND/NOT option. With the new system, this could be a bug nest. About game balance, I think that this part is always the hardest one and need deep processing in order to know what should be changed, and I kinda like thinking about all element that makes something too hard or too easy or just good.
