Shouldn't it be:
3-15-14-20-5-19-20: 4-15 25-15-21 20-8-9-14-11 25-15-21 3-1-14 2-5 1 23-18-9-20-1-1-18? 2-5-7-9-14-19 10-1-14-21-1-18-25 A-19-20 B0AA!

?

Anyway, it was insultingly easy! :D You will have to do much better next time, mister Nigma :p

Yes, going with "10-1-14-21-1-18-25 A-19-20 B0A0" would require some awkward retcon...

Haha, obviously I forgot to check my sanity level spelling.

3-15-14-20-5-19-20: 4-15 25-15-21 20-8-9-14-11 25-15-21 3-1-14 2-5 1 23-18-9-20-1-1-18? 2-5-7-9-14-19 10-1-14-21-1-18-25 A-19-20 B0AA! is right. But what does it translate to? There is a phrase/words its trying to spell.

Yup, so blatantly easy I didn't realize what I was dealing with when I whipped open my encryption toy. Though your message in the Enigma code, using the key "AAR", would be
Code:
EE6E130855727348A0EA6A4B7A8D477BCC3F40F4427B04CD311BEDD2242BECD6E436D5E1B7F3B9198FFC6A77FDAA95212330951E539C7B8A2A4EF3DE2728D8632C376F3D

The code is cracked. But I guess you want me the spoil the fun of everyone else too, don't you? Well, here you go:

"Contest: Do you think you can be a writAAR? Begins January 1st 2011!"

Oh. I thought it was "Johan is a contestant on Dancing with the StAARs".

Whats the fun of spoling the fun for everyone else? Well, there is a lot of fun in spoiling fun! I'll have some more teasers coming up in the next few days.

And yes: "Do You Think You Can Be A WritAAR?" is the name of a contest coming up.

I am so excited allready about this :)

Good luck again!

Darn. I kinda liked Dancing with the StAARs. Other ideas:

DespAARate Housewives (maybe I should use that one for a thread for someone in my Canada AAR...)
SurvivAAR (each AAR should be titled SurvivAAR: <<province name in country>> for max effect)

SurvivAAR (each AAR should be titled SurvivAAR: <<province name in country>> for max effect)

SurvivAAR: Texas. Relations with USA modded to be Neutral, so it's just you against Mexico.
SurvivAAR: Krakow. Mod Prussian, Austrian, Russian cores, in no one's SOI.
SurvivAAR: Tripoli. No mods.
SurvivAAR: Israel. Release at start or mod to exist at start.
Any other ideas?

SurvivAAR: Manhattan Commune.
SurvivAAR: Wales. Britain keeps her cores on you.
SurvivAAR: Burma

I could possibly rename it, nothing so far has been laid in stone with the name. Writing with the StAARs sounds pretty good, and plays off dancing/skating with the stars.

And here I was, all sad at the end of a wonderful contest... Looks like I need to finish up Letters so I can prepare to enter this at full force! Also - am I the only one who is both pleasantly pleased and slightly surprised to notice how many amateur (or maybe... Pro?! :O ) cryptographers we've got here? Maybe there should be a Paradox Cryptography Club...

I kind of like the contest name as is, actually - it reminds me of NaNoWriMo, for some reason. :)

Teaser Image now updated on the first post.

Will entrants have to create totally new AARs for this contest?

Are judges appointed, by population, or two per state?

Er, appointed or volunteer? :)
