Anyone get any? Because I just caught the war to end all wars.
So, points in my favour:
I'm up to date in all military techs. Bolt-action rifles, dreadnoughts, the works. I'm willing to bet that no other nation on Earth is anywhere close. A few divisions worth of tanks in production too, but it's going to take a while before the industry's there to build them.
I also have a fully cruiser/dreadnought navy (and boy does the upkeep on that hurt), while I'm guessing the AI is still shuttling around a bunch of ironclads and commerce raiders.
Better yet, I've managed to drag India and Japan in with me; the #3 and #4 military powers. Alas, the three of us combined can only just match China by itself, and in terms of sheer manpower it dwarfs us. I have 200 brigades, ish, and another eleven hundred should I choose to mobilise (given the organisational headache that would constitute I'm going to hold off for as long as possible). China, as you can see, has TEN MILLION MEN UNDER ARMS.
That's just unnecessary.
Though naturally I imagine the AI'll peace out in a couple of months. Cowards.
