*It is completely possible for a lone man living in the desert to be 81% Bureaucrat, and fight his own crimes with less than 100% efficiency. Also he can somehow reproduce by budding, but no one else is close enough to confirm this theory with observation.

The thought of an uncivilized Japan annexing territory that neighbors Her Majesty's pristine possessions leaves such a disgusting taste in the mouths of the British people that war is inevitable.

- The British show little interest in the Suez channel, preferring to let the USA build it instead. After all, what possible use could they have for a channel which links the mediterranean to India?

It should be noted that the British, historically, initially showed little interest in the Suez channel, which was a Franco-Egyptian project. The UK acquired the Egyptian government's shares of the channel only after Egypt went bankrupt (after the price of cotton went down after the end of the ACW, abruptly ending a period of economic prosperity for Egypt).

That if the large Chinese army were to swarm over and conquer British India, the fact that they didn't occupy Canada, Australia, or the British Africa would prevent the British from agreeing to cede the northern third of India....

That the French peacefully sphered Algeria and never expanded into Africa beyond taking Dutch Ghana.

That absolute monarchs would not be able to add more wargoals because they did not have the support of 7% of the disenfranchised people

That the conservative party favours free trade even though the liberal party is State Capitalist

That you get a worse relations drop each year from having claims on each other than if you're actually at war with each other.

The north German Federation owned 90% of Africa. Also the United States of Central America decided to annex mexico then Become the 6th greatest power in the world slowly overtaking the United Kingdom who was the 5th strongest.... The British started WW1 and 2 :p

*Manifest Destiny was only the cries of crazy Imperialist fanatics in the U.S., and never came to reality.

*Contrary to popular belief, Belgium never owned the Congos

*To be considered a military might, one can only have Officers and no army (guess they do the fighting with words).

*The U.K. never deployed troops abroad, even at times of war.

Vic2 has taught me about the foolishness of "peak oil" and "drill baby drill." Peak oil was reached in 1910, so it's not even worth worrying about. As for "drill baby drill," it has been repeatedly demonstrated in countless studies that around 2/3 of the world's oil comes from synthetic oil brewed from coal. In fact, in 1935, Japan made so much synthetic oil that her oil produces colonies started firing workers because of oversupply.

Not only did Ireland successfully gain independence from the UK, but when the UK tried to reconquer it, it missed the fact that it had very few troops in Britain proper, which allowed Ireland to occupy Southern Scotland and Northern England before the UK agreed to recognise Ireland's independence...

Unfortunately for Ireland, its northern third was conquered by China, who wished for a base to invade Britain from to enforce her demands on British India.

-That regardless of how much two nations hated each other, they always allowed each others armies to march throughout their nations to fight other wars.
-That regardless of how hard Krakow tried to remove itself from the Russian Sphere, Austria and Prussia would never sieze the opportunity to sphere them, and Russia sucked them back in.
-That France and England successfully industrialized all of their colonies but in the waning hours of December 31, 1935, all of those factories were destroyed by native reactionaries to a state beyond repair.
-That despite living in a democracy, Jacobins will continue to be angry and rebel without any clear reason.
-That despite living in the most reactionary state in Europe, reactionary rebels will continue to organize and rebel.
-That the story of Garibaldi defeating and conceding Two Sicilies to Victor Emanuel is a myth, as it is impossible for rebels to organize a true civil war.
-That Texas could never have beaten Mexico because even if Santa Anna was captured, the mystical deity of Mexico would not have yielded peace.
-That Poland should have never formed because the Polish were a near extinct people in 1918 and th territories of Poland were mostly Russians, Ukranians, Beylorussians and Germans.
-That all of North, West, Central and East Africa speaks French.
-That despite losing Paris and most of mainland France, the French will fight on in Africa, despite having no enemies in Africa.
-That Prussia had no interest in taking Alsace-Lorraine.
-That Sardinia-Piedmonte never fought against Austria for Lombardy.

- That contrary to popular belief, the British Empire did infact extend into Southern China.. and South America.. and Russia.. and France.

- In 1893, despite 5 of the 8 Great Powers being entirely occupied by either Communists or Anarcho-Liberals (who mysteriously avoided the capitals of said GPs for more than a decade), no one else thought that invading to get their territories back was a good idea.

- Contary to popular belief, the United States of Central America, Switzerland, Hesse-Kassel, Nassau and Saxe-Coburg-Gotha all outrank the Russian Empire, Austria and the Ottoman Empire, despite most of them possessing no military. In addition, Switzerland can build more brigades than Austria, the Ottomans and Russia.

- Italy had the 3rd largest military in the world in 1893, despite the fact that it had a quarter of the pop of every other GP besides Switzerland.

- Banda Aceh in the Sultanate of Atjeh is the worlds most populous province.

Rome may not have been built in a day, but the Panama Canal sure was!
Romania and Poland are not, nor shall ever be countries
The real borders of Texas are somewhat more north than currently thought
What Mexican-American War? What Spanish-American War? Did you mean the American Colonial War for Adjer Region?

What a game....got screens?

- Belgium is the most stable country in the world. No-one would even DREAM of a Wallonia and Vlaandern being two different nations.
- Denmark is a figment of the German author H.C. Andersen's mind. As we all know, Denmark was annexed by Prussia on January 20th 1836.
- A global economic crisis is utterly inconcievable.
- It is physically impossible for native Africans to beat Europeans EVER. Even if they are defending their homes and everything they hold dear.
- The national bank is a place where the people put their money, never to see or hear of it again.
- China is a lie. There is only British Asia.
- Transvaal can't form South Africa, only release it.
- There are no freedom movements in African colonies. The natives are just mad at the Europeans, but have no idea what else to do.
- If artist living in your country "invent" a new art form, then, no matter how unimportant you are, small states in Indochina will discover how awesome you are and align to you.

- The Spanish reconquest of Chile did not, in fact, lead to any kind of worries among the Latin American nations. In fact, none of them took any kind of action against their former colonial overlord and several of them instantly offered Spain an alliance. Not even the subsequent Spanish conquest of Argentina could do anything to damage the faith of the Latin Americans in Spain's good intentions, and all of them peacefully aligned themselves with the Spanish over the following decades.
