Abolition of slavery was my main point, also the Upper House, the Voting method, the Press issues. (Also, imho, all of the social reforms as the Constitution was never designed for industrialization).

-That despite popular belief, attempts to raise revenue in the United States do not originate in the House of Representatives. In fact they are an immediate action taken by the executive branch or some magic deity thingy, I'm still not sure.

And to keep adding to this...

-The House of Representatives in fact has no say on legislation in the U.S. The Senate gets to decide all the legislation and the President (or magic deity thingy) decides when to approve it. There is no overuling the veto.

(I know this is not a U.S. politics simulator but considering the nature of this thread, I think most of this fits).

Also, the Southern Democrat party (reactionary) apparently wanted to establishment of a one party presidental dictatorship or the creation of an absolute monarchy.

Though interstingly enough, the Confederate Consitution is written in such a way as to make NFing a certain industry illegal, in game terms. Probably because of what happened in the Union.

No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State.

- Italy really doesn't include the Papal States, and they are still independent to this day.
